Thermosensitive core-rigid micelles of monomethoxy poly(ethylene glycol)-deoxy cholic acid
Background Thermosensitive micelles with rigid cores that exhibit a reversible lower critical solution temperature at 30–35 °C can be applied for drug delivery.

Characteristic Features of Heat Transfer in the Course of Decay of Unstable Binary Mixture
This article is devoted to the study of the phenomenon of superheating of partially miscible mixtures having a lower critical solution temperature and the thermal effect accompanying the relaxation of an unstable mixture, within the framework of the ...

New parametrization method for dissipative particle dynamics [PDF]
We introduce an improved method of parameterizing the Groot-Warren version of Dissipative Particle Dynamics (DPD) by exploiting a correspondence between DPD and Scatchard-Hildebrand regular solution theory.

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

Etoposide induces DNA damage, activating p53‐dependent apoptosis via caspase‐3/7, which cleaves PARP1. Dammarenediol II enhances this apoptotic pathway by suppressing O‐GlcNAc transferase activity, further decreasing O‐GlcNAcylation. The reduction in O‐GlcNAc levels boosts p53‐driven apoptosis and influences the Akt/GSK3β/mTOR signaling pathway ...

Highly-branched poly(N-isopropyl acrylamide)s with core-shell morphology below the lower critical solution temperature [PDF]
YesHighly-branched poly(N-isopropyl acrylamide)s in water pass through coil-to-globule transitions. Using calorimetry and the colour change of a solvatochromic dye within the polymer, we show that some compositions have biphasic core–shell morphologies,

Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.
