Extravasation of Borrelia burgdorferi Across the Blood–Brain Barrier is an Extremely Rare Event
Lyme disease is caused by vascular dissemination of the bacteria Borrelia. In a 3D tissue‐engineered microvessel model, Borrelia extravasation across the blood–brain barrier is extremely rare, implying that neuroborreliosis is not caused via direct cytotoxicity.

Single‐cell RNA sequencing reveals cellular heterogeneity in adrenal incidentalomas, identifying distinct tumor cell populations. ADAR1‐HNRNPL‐Mediated CircCANX Decline Promotes Autophagy in Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease
ADAR1‐HNRNPL interaction‐repressed circCANX recruits P53 mRNA and UPF1 to assemble a complex in nuclear. This complex promotes P53 mRNA degradation through the NMD pathway, and finally reduces autophagy and stress granules formation to further regulate inflammation.
