A Phosphorylation‐Induced Micellization Switch in the Low‐Complexity Domain of TDP‐43
Phosphorylation of TAR DNA‐binding protein's 43 kDa (TDP‐43) low‐complexity domain by casein kinase 1 delta (CK1δ) acts as a molecular switch, redirecting its self‐assembly from macroscopic phase separation toward finite‐sized, spherical block‐copolymer micelles of ∼30 nm.

A Universal Protein Ladder for Standardization of Diverse FRET Assays
Translating FRET measurements from in vitro to intracellular environments requires universal benchmarks. We present a modular protein ladder using TPR motifs to harmonize data across diverse platforms. This predictable calibration curve bridges single molecule FRET measurements, with cell based measurements including FLIM‐FRET.

Protected maleimide building blocks for the decoration of peptides, peptoids and peptide nucleic acids [PDF]
Monomers allowing for the introduction of [2,5-dimethylfuran]-protected maleimides into polyamides such as peptides, peptide nucleic acids, and peptoids were prepared, as well as the corresponding oligomers.

We developed an ultrasound‐controlled biomimetic nanoplatform, mRNA/V@M NPs, to co‐deliver CD74 mRNA and V‐9302 for fibrotic TNBC therapy. CD74 mRNA reprograms myCAFs into antigen‐presenting apCAF cells through the CD74‐MHC II pathway, while V‐9302 induces ICD and activates MHC I‐CD8+ T cell immunity.

A novel neutrophil‐hitchhiking, rocket‐inspired nanoplatform is developed to cross the blood‐brain barrier for sequential, spatiotemporal drug delivery. By responsive surface transformation in the ischemic penumbra, it precisely targets mitochondria to suppress Drp1‐mediated fission.

N-(3-ethynylphenyl)maleimide [PDF]
Acetylene terminated aspartimides are prepared using two methods. In the first, an amino-substituted aromatic acetylene is reacted with an aromatic bismaleimide in a solvent of glacial acetic acid and/or m-cresol.

Indispensable Platforms for Bioimmobilization: Maleimide-Based Thiol Reactive Hydrogels
Poly(ethylene glycol)-based hydrogels containing thiol-reactive maleimide functional groups is prepared via a Diels–Alder/retro Diels–Alder reaction sequence using a masked maleimide monomer.

Maleimide-bearing nanogels as novel mucoadhesive materials for drug delivery [PDF]
Novel maleimide-functionalised nanogels have been synthesised via the polymerisation of 2,5-dimethylfuran-protected 3-maleimidoethyl butylacrylate in the presence of presynthesised poly(N-vinylpyrrolidone) (PVP) nanogel scaffolds using surfactant-free ...

Exposure to CS causes an elevation of AARS1 levels, which increases the levels of RUNX3 lactylation at the K193 site and increases protein levels of RUNX3 through inhibition of autolysosomal degradation. Elevated RUNX3 levels promote CD8+T cell activation and augment their cytotoxicity, which induces alveolar epithelial cell death and facilitates the ...
