Cytotoxicity of xanthopterin and isoxanthopterin in MCF-7 cells

The catabolism of phosphatidylcholine (PtdCho) appears to play a key role in regulating the net accumulation of the lipid in the cell cycle. Current protocols for measuring the degradation of PtdCho at specific cell-cycle phases require prolonged periods of incubation with radiolabelled choline.

AbstractIn vitro invasion and in vivo metastasis assays were performed with a panel of MCF‐7 cells transfected with isogenic constructs of mutated rasH genes.
