Consumer Acceptance of Conversational Bots: Systematic Literature Review and Meta‐Analysis

open access: yesJournal of Consumer Behaviour, Volume 25, Issue 3, Page 1488-1520, May 2026.
ABSTRACT As consumers increasingly rely on conversational bots for daily tasks, evidence surrounding motivations for acceptance remains scattered. A systematic literature review (SLR) was conducted on 64 journal articles published between 2008 and 2024, of which 48 provided sufficient quantitative data for inclusion in a meta‐analysis.

Association Between Gas‐Free Cerebrovascular Reactivity (CVR) and Cognitive Function in Older Adults With a High Risk for Vascular Dementia

open access: yesJournal of Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Volume 63, Issue 5, Page 1282-1289, May 2026.
ABSTRACT Background Vascular cognitive impairment and dementia (VCID) is the second leading cause of dementia. Cerebrovascular reactivity (CVR) is a promising biomarker for VCID. However, CVR is not commonly measured in clinical practice due to logistical difficulties in applying a hypercapnia challenge during MR imaging. Purpose To investigate whether

Measuring Food Safety Culture: A Systematic Review of Questionnaire Dimensions and Validation Practices

open access: yesComprehensive Reviews in Food Science and Food Safety, Volume 25, Issue 3, May 2026.
ABSTRACT An organization's food safety culture (FSC) is increasingly being recognized as a key factor in its food safety performance. The reliable measurement of FSC is therefore crucial for identifying the strengths and weaknesses of food companies in food safety performance, enabling them to guide continuous improvement.

A topological exploration of convergence/divergence of human‐mediated and algorithmically mediated pedagogy

open access: yesBritish Journal of Educational Technology, Volume 57, Issue 3, Page 619-638, May 2026.
We explore a topological model that situates teachers' agency as a constituent element within the convergent and divergent dynamics at the intersection of human‐mediated and algorithmically mediated pedagogies. Ubiquitous AI in education is designed to simulate, emulate and automate human processes and behaviours through datafication.
