Composition of allogeneic equine orthobiologics and their repeated intra‐articular administrations

open access: yesEquine Veterinary Journal, EarlyView.
Abstract Background Orthobiologics such as platelet‐rich plasma (PRP) and alpha‐2‐macroglobulin (A2MG) are increasingly used for equine musculoskeletal injuries. However, their composition and safety with repeated allogeneic intra‐articular administration remain poorly investigated.

Interferon y Stimulation Modulates the Proteolytic Activity and Cleavage Site Preference of 20S Mouse Proteasomes [PDF]

open access: yes, 1994
The proteasome is a 700-kD multisubunit enzyme complex with several proteolytically active sites. The enzyme complex is involved in both ubiquitin-dependent and -independent protein degradation and may contribute to the processing of antigens presented ...

Gene expression signatures from single‐cell transcriptomics predict Sjögren's syndrome

open access: yesiMetaOmics, EarlyView.
A machine learning‐based 12‐gene signature (SjS.Sig) was developed from scRNA‐seq data of PBMCs from Sjögren's syndrome patients. The model was validated using bulk RNA‐seq datasets and further confirmed through flow cytometry and qPCR analysis in an independent clinical cohort, demonstrating robust diagnostic potential.

Determining the Quantitative Principles of T Cell Response to Antigenic Disparity in Stem Cell Transplantation

open access: yesFrontiers in Immunology, 2018
Alloreactivity compromising clinical outcomes in stem cell transplantation is observed despite HLA matching of donors and recipients. This has its origin in the variation between the exomes of the two, which provides the basis for minor ...

T-cells and transplantation tolerance in Thymectomised Xenopus implanted with foreign thymus [PDF]

open access: yes, 1990
This thesis investigates the expression of a T-cell differentiation antigen, (XTLA- 1), in various strains and species of Xenopus, and demonstrates the effect of early-thymectomy, (by microcautery), on XTLA-1 expression.

Paradoxical Alopecia Areata Induced by IL‐17 and IL‐23 Inhibitors: A Systematic Review

open access: yesJEADV Clinical Practice, EarlyView.
This systematic review identifies consistent clinical patterns of alopecia areata associated with IL‐17 and IL‐23 inhibitors, most frequently involving secukinumab and ustekinumab. Disease severity varied widely, and management often required biologic discontinuation or therapeutic switching.

Estudio de la compatibilidad por métodos serológicos (HLA) y celulares (CML) en 22 años de trabajo en el Instituto de Hematología e Inmunología Study of compatibility by serological(HLA)and cellular methods (MLC) in 22 years of work in the Hematology and Immunology Institute

EGR-2 is not required for in vivo CD4 T cell mediated immune responses.

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2010
BackgroundThe zinc finger transcription factor EGR-2 has been shown to play an important role in the induction of T cell anergy and the regulation of peripheral T cell tolerance.

H60: A Unique Murine Hematopoietic Cell-Restricted Minor Histocompatibility Antigen for Graft-versus-Leukemia Effect

open access: yesFrontiers in Immunology, 2020
Allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT) is an important treatment for many types of hematological malignancies. Matching of donor and recipient for the major histocompatibility complex (MHC) improves the HSCT reconstitution, but ...
