High-throughput minor histocompatibility antigen prediction [PDF]
Abstract Motivation: Minor histocompatibility antigens (mHags) are a diverse collection of MHC-bound peptides that have immunological implications in the context of allogeneic transplantation because of their differential presence in donor and host, and thus play a critical role in the induction of the detrimental graft-versus-host ...

Gene expression signatures from single‐cell transcriptomics predict Sjögren's syndrome
A machine learning‐based 12‐gene signature (SjS.Sig) was developed from scRNA‐seq data of PBMCs from Sjögren's syndrome patients. The model was validated using bulk RNA‐seq datasets and further confirmed through flow cytometry and qPCR analysis in an independent clinical cohort, demonstrating robust diagnostic potential.

Adoptive Immunotherapy in Chimeras with Donor Lymphocytes [PDF]
Allogeneic stem cell transplantation has a well-defined indication in the treatment of hematological malignancies. The beneficial immune effect of allogeneic marrow transplantation has long been known, but only recently have methods been developed to ...

The Genomic Landscape of Antigenic Targets for T Cell-Based Leukemia Immunotherapy
Intensive fundamental and clinical research in cancer immunotherapy has led to the emergence and evolution of two parallel universes with surprisingly little interactions: the realm of hematologic malignancies and that of solid tumors.

Bile acid metabolism and signaling in human and animal health: A One Health perspective
Bile acids maintain host homeostasis through enterohepatic circulation, microbial transformation, and bile acid receptor signaling, thereby regulating glucose and lipid metabolism, intestinal barrier integrity, and immunity. These effects support human disease intervention and health‐oriented animal production, reducing drug dependence and residue ...

Microbiome—pancreatic cancer crosstalk: From tumor biology to therapeutic intervention
The intratumoral microbiome acts as a critical regulator in pancreatic cancer progression and therapeutic resistance. This comprehensive review delineates the origins of pancreatic microbes, elucidates their multifaceted mechanisms in driving immune suppression, metabolic reprogramming, and stromal desmoplasia, and highlights the clinical potential of ...

Targeting Alloreactive Donor T-Cells to Hematopoietic System-Restricted Minor Histocompatibility Antigens to Dissect Graft-versus-Leukemia Effects from Graft-versus-Host Disease after Allogeneic Stem Cell Transplantation [PDF]
The graft-versus-leukemia (GVL) effect of HLA-identical allogeneic stem cell transplantation is mainly mediated by alloreactive T-cells directed at the minor histocompatibility antigens (H ags) expressed on the leukemic cells of the recipient.

Paradoxical Alopecia Areata Induced by IL‐17 and IL‐23 Inhibitors: A Systematic Review
This systematic review identifies consistent clinical patterns of alopecia areata associated with IL‐17 and IL‐23 inhibitors, most frequently involving secukinumab and ustekinumab. Disease severity varied widely, and management often required biologic discontinuation or therapeutic switching.

What are minor histocompatibility loci? A new look at an old question. [PDF]
In this article, Derry Roopenian relates the traditional view of minor histocompatibility (H) loci to recent advances in understanding of the tissue rejection process and the molecular nature of minor histocompatibility antigens.

Nail Lichen Planus in Children ‐ Epidemiology, Pathogenesis, Clinical Presentation, and Treatment
ABSTRACT Nail lichen planus (NLP) is a chronic inflammatory disorder that, while rare in children compared to adults, represents a significant cause of pediatric nail dystrophy that requires early recognition to prevent permanent scarring and nail loss.
