Targeting the microbiota‐miRNA‐protease axis: A new therapeutic avenue in melanoma

open access: yesThe FEBS Journal, EarlyView.
Modulation of extracellular matrix (ECM) turnover is central to melanoma progression and metastasis, driven largely by ECM proteases. This review highlights the epigenetic regulation of ECM proteases by microRNAs and their roles in melanoma growth, invasion, and immune modulation.

MSC‐Derived Exosomal lnc‐AGT‐3: A Novel Anti‐Angiogenic Target in Age‐Related Macular Degeneration Through p53 Signaling Pathway

open access: yesAging Cell, Volume 25, Issue 2, February 2026.
MSC‐derived exosomes deliver lnc‐AGT‐3 to vascular endothelial cells, where it binds hnRNP K in the nucleus. This interaction inhibits p53 ubiquitination, enhancing p53 stabilization and transcriptional activation of anti‐angiogenic targets TSP1. Consequently, p53‐mediated signaling is potentiated, effectively suppressing choroidal neovascularization ...

Ultrastable Perovskite Encased in a Helical Cage for Tunable Full‐Color Mirror‐Image Circularly Polarized Luminescence

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, Volume 36, Issue 4, 12 January 2026.
Develop full‐color colloidal perovskite nanocrystal (PNC) composites using a single organic halide precursor and enhance their stability and emission through zirconium hydrogen phosphate nanosheets (NSs). Achieve high photoluminescence efficiency and dual‐state circularly polarized luminescence (CPL) by embedding stabilized PNCs into a chiral polymer ...

A 2 miRNAs-based signature for the diagnosis of atherosclerosis

open access: yesBMC Cardiovascular Disorders, 2021
Background Atherosclerosis (AS) is a leading cause of vascular disease worldwide. MicroRNAs (miRNAs) play an essential role in the development of AS. However, the miRNAs-based biomarkers for the diagnosis of AS are still limited.

MicroRNA-532-5p Regulates Pericyte Function by Targeting the Transcription Regulator BACH1 and Angiopoietin-1 [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
MicroRNAs regulate endothelial function and angiogenesis, but their implication in pericyte biology remains undetermined. A PCR array, covering a panel of 379 human microRNAs, showed microRNA-532-5p to be one of the most differentially modulated by ...

Metastable Ordered Mesoporous h‐LuFeO3 Thin Films Prepared by Soft‐Templating: Optical, Electronic, and Magnetic Properties

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, Volume 13, Issue 2, 20 January 2026.
An intriguing design concept for the preparation of metastable mesoporous h‐LuFeO3 thin films and powders by soft‐templating is presented. The hexagonal rather than the orthorhombic phase is formed due to the presence of a polymer structure‐directing agent in the synthesis.
