MiR-590-3p Promotes the Phenotypic Switching of Vascular Smooth Muscle Cells by Targeting Lysyl Oxidase

Journal of Cardiovascular Pharmacology, 2023
Abstract: We investigated the clinical characteristics of patients with acute aortic dissection (AAD) and miR-590-3p levels in serum, tissue, and vascular smooth muscle cells. The effect of miR-590-3p on the vascular smooth muscle cell phenotype was assessed, and the regulation of lysyl oxidase by miR-5903p was determined.

MiR-590-3p regulates osteogenic differentiation of human mesenchymal stem cells by regulating APC gene

Biochemical and Biophysical Research Communications, 2016
The present study aimed to investigate miR-590-3p's role in osteogenic differentiation of human mesenchymal stem cells (hMSC). HMSC were cultured and transfected with empty vector, miR-590-3p vector to construct control hMSC and miR-590-3p overexpression hMSC. MiR-590-3p suppressed hMSC was created with oligonucleotide transient transfection.

SP1-induced ZFAS1 aggravates sepsis-induced cardiac dysfunction via miR-590–3p/NLRP3-mediated autophagy and pyroptosis

Archives of Biochemistry and Biophysics, 2020
Sepsis-induced cardiac dysfunction is one of the leading complications of sepsis, contributing to the high morbidity and mortality of septic patients. Several lines of evidence have demonstrated that autophagy and pyroptosis may be involved in septic cardiac dysfunction. In this study, we examined the impact of zinc finger antisense 1 (ZFAS1) on sepsis-

Clinical Value of Circulating ZFAS1 and miR-590-3p in the Diagnosis and Prognosis of Chronic Heart Failure

Cardiovascular Toxicology, 2021
Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) have been reported to be involved in the development of various cardiovascular diseases, including chronic heart failure (CHF). In this study, we aimed to investigate the role of ZFAS1/miR-590-3p axis in the diagnosis and prognosis of CHF.

Effect of miR-590-3p/DKK1 Axis on the Progression of Wilms’ Tumour

Archivos Españoles de Urología
Wilms' tumour is the most prevalent abdominal malignancy in children. This study focused on the mechanism of the miR-590-3p/Dickkopf 1 (DKK1) axis in Wilms' tumour. The mRNA levels of miR-590-3p and DKK1 in 49 pairs of Wilms' tumour pathological specimens and normal tissues were determined using real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction (RT-qPCR).

miR-590-3p Is a Novel MicroRNA in Myocarditis by Targeting Nuclear Factor Kappa-B in vivo

Cardiology, 2015
Objective: Nuclear factor kappa-B (NF-κB)-induced inflammation leads to myocarditis and heart dysfunction. How microRNAs (miRNAs) contribute to this process is poorly defined. The aim of this study was to investigate whether miRNAs regulate NF-κB-induced inflammation in experimental autoimmune ...

MiR-590-3p Attenuates Acute Kidney Injury by Inhibiting Tumor Necrosis Factor Receptor-Associated Factor 6 in Septic Mice

Inflammation, 2018
Previous studies have been indicated that tumor necrosis factor receptor-associated factor 6 (TRAF6)-induced inflammation leads to acute kidney injury (AKI). How microRNA (miR) contributes to this process is poorly defined. The aim of this study was to investigate whether miR-590-3p regulated lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced inflammatory response by ...

miR-590–3p inhibits proliferation and promotes apoptosis by targeting activating transcription factor 3 in human breast cancer cells

Biochimie, 2018
We previously reported that ATF3 and Runx2 are involved in breast cancer progression and bone metastasis. The expression of these genes can be controlled by post-transcriptional regulators such as microRNAs (miRNAs). In this study, we identified and validated the functional role of miR-590-3p in human breast cancer cells (MDA-MB231).

Exosomal miR-590-3p derived from bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells promotes osteoblast differentiation and osteogenesis by targeting TGFBR1

In Vitro Cellular & Developmental Biology - Animal
Bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (BMSCs) have been verified to be essential factors regulating osteogenic functions, which is mainly attributed to their secretion of extracellular vesicles. Exosomes derived from BMSCs (BMSCs-Exo) contribute to osteoblast functions that are critical for improving bone defect.
