The deficiency of PNLDC1 exacerbates the advancement of CRC. PNLDC1 interacts with TUBB4B mRNA to regulate the p53–p21–CDK2–cyclin E2 pathway, thereby influencing the G2/M phase of the cell cycle. ABSTRACT Colorectal cancer (CRC) remains a leading cause of cancer‐related mortality, highlighting the urgent need for novel therapeutic strategies.

Stinging nettle (Urtica dioica L.) leaves are a nutrient‐dense source of proteins, dietary fiber, chlorophylls, carotenoids, and phenolic compounds. Processing technologies enable the production of powders and extracts for incorporation into bakery, beverage, dairy, and nutraceutical products; however, challenges remain regarding sensory quality ...

Translation attenuation mechanism in unfolded protein response
Endoplasmic Reticulum is a cellular organelle where membrane and extracellular proteins are folded with the help of chaperons. Insulin is one example of such extracellular proteins. Unfolded Protein Response (UPR) is a cell response to an increased level

Signalling the mammalian mitochondrial unfolded protein response
Mitochondria perform essential energetic, metabolic and signalling functions within the cell. To fulfil these, the integrity of the mitochondrial proteome has to be preserved. Therefore, each mitochondrial subcompartment harbours its own system for protein quality control. However, if the capacity of mitochondrial chaperones and proteases is overloaded,

Metrnl: A Novel Therapeutic Target in Atherosclerosis
ABSTRACT Atherosclerosis is a chronic inflammatory vascular disease and the main pathological basis of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular events. Exploration of endogenous protective factors in the disease is beneficial for the establishment of new therapeutic strategies.

ABSTRACT The global incidence of intestinal diseases—including food allergy, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), and colorectal cancer (CRC)—continues to escalate in parallel with the expansion of the “Western diet,” within which the high‐sugar diet (HSD) has emerged as a pivotal yet under‐recognized dietary driver.

Mechanical memory in aging: From adaptive sensing to pathological entrenchment
Mechanical memory in aging operates through four temporal tiers, from cytoskeletal remodeling to metabolic reprogramming. Aging disrupts this cascade through three distinct decoupling patterns: sensor degradation, conduction blockade, and execution failure, leading to irreversible pathological entrenchment across multiple organ systems.

ABSTRACT This study aimed to evaluate whether polydatin (Poly) could eliminate the harmful effects of vancomycin (VCM) on the lungs of rats. Rats were administered VCM (200 mg/kg) and Poly (50 mg/kg), both separately and in combination, for a duration of 7 days.

ABSTRACT One of the most serious complications associated with the use of the chemotherapeutic agent doxorubicin (DOX) is cardiomyopathy. Although cardioprotective drugs such as angiotensin receptor‐neprilysin inhibitors (ARNI) are used to prevent cardiomyopathy in DOX patients, no studies have reported the relationship between ARNI and endoplasmic ...
