Formation Control of Multi-Robot using Virtual Structures with a Linear Algebra Approach

open access: yesJAREE (Journal on Advanced Research in Electrical Engineering), 2020
The separation bearing controller (SBC) and separation-separation controller (SSC) approaches can be used to maintain multi-robot formation, while the Computed Torque Control (CTC) method is used to solve the dynamic problems of the robot.

In situ molecular organization and heterogeneity of the Legionella Dot/Icm T4SS

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We present a nearly complete in situ model of the Legionella Dot/Icm type IV secretion system, revealing its central secretion channel and identifying new components. Using cryo‐electron tomography with AI‐based modeling, our work highlights the structure, variability, and mechanism of this complex nanomachine, advancing understanding of bacterial ...

Motion Planning for Multi-Robot Assembly Systems [PDF]

open access: yesVolume 1: 25th Design Automation Conference, 1999
Abstract This paper addresses a multi-robot optimal assembly planning problem which in essence is an augmented Travelling Salesperson Problem (TSP+). In our TSP+, both the “salesperson” (a robot with a tool) as well as the “cities” (another robot with a workpiece) move.

A Multi-Robot Warehouse System: An Exemplar

open access: yes2023 ACM/IEEE International Conference on Model Driven Engineering Languages and Systems Companion (MODELS-C), 2023
Abstract: The complexity of modelling and designing cyber-physical systems arises due to their heterogeneous components and the need to explicitly model the features of interest for these components from different points of view. To support the modelling of these complex systems, multi-paradigm modelling advocates explicitly modelling every part of a ...

Developing evidence‐based, cost‐effective P4 cancer medicine for driving innovation in prevention, therapeutics, patient care and reducing healthcare inequalities

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The cancer problem is increasing globally with projections up to the year 2050 showing unfavourable outcomes in terms of incidence and cancer‐related deaths. The main challenges are prevention, improved therapeutics resulting in increased cure rates and enhanced health‐related quality of life.

Analysis of Measurement Accuracy of Multi-Objective Normalization Algorithm Under Different Reference Systems

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2021
Aiming at the problem that the base coordinate system of industrial robot is not unified with the center coordinate system of tool, and it is impossible to input the action position in the robot teaching device, this paper adopts ROMER HEXAGON METROLOGY ...

Phenotypic and genotypic characterization of single circulating tumor cells in the follow‐up of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Single circulating tumor cells (sCTCs) from high‐grade serous ovarian cancer patients were enriched, imaged, and genomically profiled using WGA and NGS at different time points during treatment. sCTCs revealed enrichment of alterations in Chromosomes 2, 7, and 12 as well as persistent or emerging oncogenic CNAs, supporting sCTC identity.

Robot System Assistant (RoSA): Towards Intuitive Multi-Modal and Multi-Device Human-Robot Interaction

open access: yesSensors, 2022
This paper presents an implementation of RoSA, a Robot System Assistant, for safe and intuitive human-machine interaction. The interaction modalities were chosen and previously reviewed using a Wizard of Oz study emphasizing a strong propensity for ...

Mycobacterial cell division arrest and smooth‐to‐rough envelope transition using CRISPRi‐mediated genetic repression systems

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
CRISPRI‐mediated gene silencing and phenotypic exploration in nontuberculous mycobacteria. In this Research Protocol, we describe approaches to control, monitor, and quantitatively assess CRISPRI‐mediated gene silencing in M. smegmatis and M. abscessus model organisms.
