Laccase multigene families in Agaricomycetes
Journal of Basic Microbiology, 2016Here we present the results of the exploration of laccase multigene families (MGFs) in basidiomycetous fungi from different taxonomic groups using a next generation sequencing (NGS) technology. In our study, multiple laccase genes were identified in all of the investigated fungi (13 species) from Polyporaceae, Phanerochaetaceae, Meruliaceae ...

Rat Metallothionein Multigene Family
1987Southern blot analysis of rat genomic DNA reveals the presence of numerous sequences homologous to the rat MT-1 gene. We have isolated and characterized by sequence analysis the rat MT-1 gene and three related processed pseudogenes. We discuss mechanisms by which these pseudogenes were formed.

The olfactory multigene family
Current Opinion in Genetics & Development, 1992A novel multigene family has been identified that is likely to encode odorant receptors on olfactory sensory neurons. Further studies on this gene family are likely to shed light on the molecular mechanisms underlying information coding in the mammalian olfactory system. This review is also published in Current Opinion in Neurobiology 1992, 2:282-288.
