BCL9 and BCL9L drive bladder cancer progression by enhancing β‐catenin signaling, promoting proliferation, migration, invasion, and organoid growth. Genetic depletion of BCL9(L) suppresses malignant phenotypes, while pharmacological disruption of the β‐catenin/BCL9(L) complex with ZW4864 inhibits canonical Wnt signaling and tumor‐associated cellular ...

Transcriptional regulation of the human c-myc gene
The involvement of c-myc in the genesis of animal neoplasia is now well documented for several systems. In order to define the precise role played by the myc gene in tumorigenesis, a better understanding of the normal regulation of myc expression is ...

Direct Regulation of Hsp60 Expression by C-Myc Induces Transformation
The c-MYC proto-oncogene encodes a ubiquitous transcription factor involved in cell proliferation and tumorigenesis. Heat shock protein 60 ( HSP60) plays an essential role in assisting many newly synthesized proteins to reach their native forms ...

ERα splice variant ERα∆7 lacks the C‐terminus, and its expression may change phenotypes of breast cancers. Our results showed that ERα∆7 is found in the luminal A subtype, and elevated ERα∆7 levels are linked to improved cell survival with lower proliferation and migration.

MicroRNA profiling in B cell non-Hodgkin Lymphoma : focus on the role of MYC [PDF]
Non-Hodgkinlymfoon is een kwaadaardige vorm van kanker die uitgaat van de lymfeklieren. De ziekte wordt gekenmerkt door specifieke chromosoomafwijkingen en door afwijkende patronen van genexpressie.

Development of human monoclonal antibodies against TARM1 by yeast display
Human monoclonal antibodies against TARM1 are generated by yeast display‐guided selection. These antibodies bind to soluble and cell‐surface forms of TARM1. Also, these antibodies exhibit agonistic activity in the NFAT‐GFP reporter assay, indicating that TARM1 signaling can be functionally modulated by antibodies and suggesting TARM1 as a potential ...

Matrix metalloproteinase‐9 (MMP9) drives ovarian cancer progression. Using MMP9‐null cells (M9‐KO) created from ovarian cancer cells, we found MMP9 loss did not block Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF)‐driven E‐cadherin dissolution or EMT but delayed and reduced EGF‐driven membrane protrusions. Transient MMP9 re‐expression drove membrane protrusion.
