Bioisosteric analogs of MDMA: Improving the pharmacological profile?
This study explores three new bioisosteric replacements of the methylenedioxy group of MDMA, resulting in ODMA, TDMA, and SeDMA. Compared to MDMA, these bioisosteres have shown an alternative hepatic metabolism, with different resulting metabolites and an improved metabolic stability for TDMA.

Psychedelic therapy in depression and substance use disorders
Psychedelics changes in perception through serotonin receptor agonism. Effects on the 5HT2A receptor; neuroplasticity and transcriptomic regulation, as well as specific changes in neural correlates of brain networks. Psychedelic‐assisted therapy in disorders such as depression, anxiety and substance use disorders constitutes a strong research area ...

Black Phosphorus Microbubbles Combined with Ultrasound for Treating Parkinson's Disease
Black phosphorus microbubbles (BP@MBs) combined with focused ultrasound to open the blood‐brain barrier for treatment of Parkinson's disease (PD) is constructed. BP@MBs have antioxidant effects, reduce neuronal apoptosis and improve motor symptoms of PD in vitro and in vivo.
