Multiresponsive Supramolecular Nanogated Ensembles
Journal of the American Chemical Society, 2009A new multiresponsive supramolecular nanogated ensemble has been developed by introducing beta-cyclodextrin (beta-CD) into polymer-grafted mesoporous silica. The cross-linked polymer produced by host-guest interaction between beta-CD and diazo-linker works as a gatekeeper to control the release of trapped molecules from hybrid materials.

Nanog transforms NIH3T3 cells and targets cell-type restricted genes [PDF]
The transcription factor Nanog is uniquely expressed in embryonic stem (ES) cells and in germ cell tumors and is important for selfrenewal. To understand the relation between this and cell transformation, we expressed Nanog in NIH3T3 cells, and these ...

Designing mega-ASICs in nanogate technologies
Proceedings of the 40th annual Design Automation Conference, 2003This paper discusses challenges the designer faces in integrating entire system product designs, containing tens or even hundreds of millions of logic gates, into single chip solutions now within reach using circuit densities possible in the latest silicon technologies.

NANOG Changes in Mouse Kidneys with Age
Rejuvenation Research, 2005NANOG is essential for mouse and human embryonic stem cell (ESC) pluripotency and selfrenewal. It is also expressed in several adult murine tissues as shown by reverse transcriptase–polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) analysis. However, human NANOG transcripts have been isolated from adult bone marrow (EST; GenBank accession no. BF893620).

The Function of Nanog in Pluripotency
2011The transcription factors Oct4, Sox2 and Nanog form a triumvirate of regulatory proteins governing efficient maintenance of pluripotent cell identity. However, in contrast to Oct4 and Sox2, whose protein levels are relatively constant in undifferentiated mouse ES cells, Nanog levels fluctuate widely.

Research progress of nanog gene in fish
Molecular Genetics and GenomicsNanog is a crucial regulatory factor in maintaining the self-renewal and pluripotency of embryonic stem cells. It is involved in various biological processes, such as early embryonic development, cell reprogramming, cell cycle regulation, the proliferation and migration of primordial germ cells.
