Fungal isolates were recovered from symptomatic leaves of naranjilla Solanum quitoense Lam. sampled in Pastaza province, an important production region in eastern Ecuadorian Amazon. Filamentous fungi were identified with molecular methods based on ITS and ribosomal DNA sequencing. Among 68 recorded fungi, the isolation of mycobiota resulted in 14 taxa.
