Biology of HIV-Nef in vivo [PDF]
HIV-Nef is established as an important factor for pathogenicity during HIV infection. The exact role and underlying mechanisms however are still unclear.

Human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV-1) Nef interacts with the clathrin-associated AP-1 and AP-3 adaptor complexes, stabilizing their association with endosomal membranes. These findings led us to hypothesize a general impact of this viral protein on

Programmable Nanobody‐Targeting Chimeras Enable Intracellular Viral Protein Degradation
Nab‐TAC enables targeted degradation of HBV surface antigen (HBsAg) in vivo. By fusing nanobody‐based recognition domains with programmable proteasome‐recruiting degradation signals, Nab‐TAC reduces HBsAg levels in a hydrodynamic HBV mouse model. ABSTRACT Chronic hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection remains a major global health challenge, largely because

Genetic determinants of HIV-1 subtype C Nef-mediated SERINC3 down-regulation
Background Nef-mediated down-regulation of the host restriction factors SERINC3 and SERINC5 significantly enhances HIV-1 infectivity. Natural Nef polymorphisms that affect SERINC3 down-regulation are not as well-characterised as those that affect SERINC5

Identification of Nef region interacting with ASK1.
(A) Using Nef core domain (57-207 aa) sequences, two distinct Nef truncations were designed for mammalian two hybrid studies by successively deleting 33 aa form C-terminal and subsequent cloning in pACT vector so as to obtain Nef (57-174 aa), Nef (57-141

Objective Dysarthria is one of the most common and disabling side effects of subthalamic nucleus deep brain stimulation (STN‐DBS) in Parkinson's disease (PD). Stimulation often exacerbates speech dysfunction beyond the effects of PD progression, likely because of current spread to structures surrounding the STN.

A ramp‐based phase‐locked loop (RPLL) active rectifier operating at 40.68 MHz compensates switching delay variations to improve phase alignment. The proposed architecture achieves 90.3% peak power conversion efficiency and 98.0% voltage conversion ratio for high‐frequency wireless power transfer in implantable medical devices.
