Chemotherapy‐Induced Nausea and Vomiting in Early Breast Cancer Patients Receiving Adjuvant Chemotherapy With Fluorouracil, Epirubicin, Cyclophosphamide Followed by Docetaxel Versus an Anthracycline‐Free Regimen With Docetaxel, Cyclophosphamide—Results From a Randomized Clinical Trial

open access: yesInternational Journal of Cancer, Volume 159, Issue 8, Page 1990-2003, 15 October 2026.
Chemotherapy‐induced nausea and vomiting (CINV) remains a significant clinical problem despite modern antiemetics. In particular, antiemetic strategies for emerging cancer therapies lack detailed evaluation. This randomized trial analyzed hourly CINV data for patients with early breast cancer who received either docetaxel plus cyclophosphamide (TC) or ...

Menopausal hormone therapy and comprehensive postmenopausal care in gynecologic cancer survivors: A position paper from the FIGO Committee on Women at Menopausal Age

open access: yesInternational Journal of Gynecology &Obstetrics, Volume 174, Issue 3, Page 1151-1171, September 2026.
Abstract Recent advances in cancer screening, diagnosis, and treatment have greatly improved survival rates among women with gynecologic cancers. Contribution of Histamine to Nociceptive Behaviors Induced by Intrathecally Administered Cholecystokinin-8

open access: yesFrontiers in Pharmacology, 2020
The involvement of spinal release of histamine in the nociceptive behaviors induced by cholecystokinin-8 (CCK-8) was investigated in mice. Intrathecal (i.t.) injection of CCK-8 elicited the nociceptive behaviors consisting of biting and licking.

Receptor‐Targeted Antiemetic Strategies in Cats: A Systematic Review and Intervention‐Specific Meta‐Analysis

open access: yesVeterinary Medicine and Science, Volume 12, Issue 5, September 2026.
Maropitant showed the most consistent controlled evidence for reducing emesis incidence in cats under perioperative or induced‐emesis conditions. Ondansetron may be beneficial in timing‐specific settings, whereas metoclopramide evidence remains insufficient for pooled inference. .

The role of histidine 265 in antagonist binding to the neurokinin-1 receptor.

open access: yesJournal of Biological Chemistry, 1994
Previous studies suggested that the antagonist binding site in the neurokinin-1 receptor is composed of phylogenetically conserved residues, while phylogenetically divergent residues affect the conformation of the binding site. To test this hypothesis, we investigated the role of conserved residues in antagonist binding.
