A study on selective transformation of norbornadiene into fluorinated cyclopentane-fused isoxazolines

open access: yesBeilstein Journal of Organic Chemistry, 2021
This work presents an examination of the selective functionalization of norbornadiene through nitrile oxide 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition/ring-opening metathesis (ROM)/cross-metathesis (CM) protocols. Functionalization of commercially available norbornadiene

The Molecular Mechanism of the Formation of Four-Membered Cyclic Nitronates and Their Retro (3 + 2) Cycloaddition: A DFT Mechanistic Study

open access: yesMolecules, 2021
In the present work, the formation of the four-membered cyclic nitronates and the retro (3 + 2) cycloaddition (retro-32CA) reaction of the 4H-[1,2]oxazete 2-oxide were studied using the density functional theory method at the MPWB1K/6-311G(d,p ...

"Effect of graphene oxide with different oxidation degrees on mechanical properties of carboxylated acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber: Experiment and molecular simulation"

open access: yesHecheng xiangjiao gongye, 2023
Graphene oxide(GO) with different oxidation degree was prepared and was used to strengthen carboxyl nitrile rubber(XNBR). And the tensile properties and binding energy were studied by experiments and molecular simulation.

Conversion of Oximes to Carbonyl Compounds by Triscetylpyridinium Tetrakis(oxodiperoxotungsto) Phosphate (PCWP)-mediated Oxidation with Hydrogen Peroxide

open access: yesMolecules, 2008
Aromatic and aliphatic oximes have been deoximated in chloroform-water to the corresponding aldehydes with dilute hydrogen peroxide and triscetylpyridinium tetrakis (oxodiperoxotungsto) phosphate as catalyst.

Controllable cyanation of carbon-hydrogen bonds by zeolite crystals over manganese oxide catalyst

open access: yesNature Communications, 2017
Sustainable strategies for nitrile synthesis are needed. Here, the authors report an environmentally benign, selective heterogeneous catalyst for the synthesis of nitriles by the oxidative cyanation of carbon and hydrogen (C-H) bonds, which comprises ...

Side-chain Modifications of Highly Functionalized 3(2H)-Furanones

open access: yesMolecules, 2012
A series of 3(2H)-furanones, based on side-chain modifications of a parent 3(2H)-furanone, was synthesized in good yield. The parent compound was prepared by hydrogenolysis, and subsequent acid hydrolysis, of isoxazole derivatives.

Atmospheric oxidation of nitriles

open access: yes, 1977
The reports of nitrile formation in actual and simulated auto emissions suggests a potential environmental hazard associated with the wide scale use of catalytic exhaust converters. Specifically, the atmospheric oxidation of nitriles is believed to occur via radical intermediates which can lead to both NO/sub x/ and CO production.

Combined experimental and theoretical studies of regio- and stereoselectivity in reactions of β-isoxazolyl- and β-imidazolyl enamines with nitrile oxides

open access: yesBeilstein Journal of Organic Chemistry, 2016
Reactions of β-azolyl enamines and nitrile oxides were studied by both experimental and theoretical methods. (E)-β-(4-Nitroimidazol-5-yl), (5-nitroimidazol-4-yl) and isoxazol-5-yl enamines smoothly react regioselectively at room temperature in dioxane ...

PYCR1 inhibition in bone marrow stromal cells enhances bortezomib sensitivity in multiple myeloma cells by altering their metabolism

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study investigated how PYCR1 inhibition in bone marrow stromal cells (BMSCs) indirectly affects multiple myeloma (MM) cell metabolism and viability. Culturing MM cells in conditioned medium from PYCR1‐silenced BMSCs impaired oxidative phosphorylation and increased sensitivity to bortezomib.
