Infra-red studies of the surface acidity of oxides and zeolites using adsorbed probe molecular [PDF]

open access: yes, 1996
The use of infrared spectroscopy to probe the surface acidity of oxides and molecular sieves is reviewed. The experimental requirements and the type and nature of probe molecules available are also discussed.

NMR studies on 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition of nitrile oxides to norbornenes

open access: yes, 2013
The 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition reaction of nitrile oxides to norbornenes substituted with an acrylate-derived moiety was examined. Only adducts to norbornene system were formed with a good exo selectivity and complete site-selectivity.

Synthesis of perfluorinated polyethers [PDF]

open access: yes
A series of highly fluorinated acetylenes was prepared and their cyclization reactions were studied. A series of perfluoropolytriazines with -CF2I pendent groups were prepared.

Recent Applications of the Simple Hydrocarbon Cyclooctatetrene as a Starting Material for Complex Molecule Synthesis [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
Cyclooctatetraene [COT], a simple non-aromatic cyclic polyene, is capable of undergoing a variety of oxidation and cycloaddition reactions to afford polycyclic structures.
