A Comprehensive Study of the Synthesis, Spectral Characteristics, Quantum–Chemical Molecular Electron Density Theory, and In Silico Future Perspective of Novel CBr3-Functionalyzed Nitro-2-Isoxazolines Obtained via (3 + 2) Cycloaddition of (E)-3,3,3-Tribromo-1-Nitroprop-1-ene

open access: yesMolecules
The search for new heterocyclic compounds with biological potential is one of the current challenges in modern chemistry. Therefore, the comprehensive study of (3 + 2) cycloaddition (32CA) reactions between a series of aryl-substituted nitrile N-oxides ...

Scalable Fabrication of Electrochemical Sensors Via Inkjet Printing of Functionalized Graphene for Pesticide Detection

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Inkjet printing enables uniform, reproducible, and stable deposition of nitrogen‐doped graphene acid (NGA) on screen‐printed electrodes, outperforming traditional drop‐casting. The resulting electrochemical sensor exhibits enhanced sensitivity, long‐term stability, and efficient imidacloprid detection.

Applications of QSPR and Machine Learning in Molecular Photonics

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
Quantitative structureproperty relationships (QSPR) and machine learning (ML) are transforming photochemistry by enabling pre‐synthetic screening of photoactive molecules. This review outlines advances in data‐driven discovery of optical materials and functional dyes, identifies effective descriptors and models for photophysical processes, and provides

Process for the manufacture of carbon or graphite fibers [PDF]

open access: yes
Carbon or graphite fibers are manufactured by heating polyacrylonitrile fiber materials in various solutions and gases. They are characterized in that the materials are heated to temperatures from 150 to 300 C in a solution containing one or more acids ...

Ruthenium‐Catalyzed Azide‐Selenoalkyne Cycloadditions: A Combined Synthetic–Computational Study into Reaction Scope, Mechanism, and Origins of Regioselectivity

open access: yesAdvanced Synthesis &Catalysis, EarlyView.
A ruthenium‐catalyzed azide–alkyne cycloaddition (RuAAC) reaction is reported for the synthesis of selenium‐substituted triazole products. Reaction regioselectivity is dependent on the identity of the non‐selenium substituent of the alkyne, which challenges the perceived understanding of RuAAC regioselectivity.

Cooperative Photocatalysis of 9,10‐Phenanthrenequinone and Sn(OTf)2 for Direct Mannich Reaction of Ethers via Hydrogen Atom Transfer Pathway

open access: yesAdvanced Synthesis &Catalysis, EarlyView.
A dual photocatalytic system of o‐PQ and Sn(OTf)2 enables visible light‐induced Mannich‐type addition of ethers to nitrones via Csp³–H activation. This oxidant‐free method offers broad scope and good yields. Mechanistic studies suggest that a photoexcited o‐PQ–Sn(II) complex mediates hydrogen atom transfer to form α‐oxy radicals for nitrone addition. A

Synthesis and reductive cleavage of 3-(2-flurophenyl) and 3-(4-flurophenyl)-cyclopent-5-en[d]isoxazolines by raney nickel in trifluroacetic acid [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
3-Fluoro arylcycloopent-5-en[d]isoxazolines have been obtained via the 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition of cyclopentadiene to aromatic nitrile oxides. The reductive cleavage of these isoxazolines by Raney nickel in trifluoroacetic acid led to corresponding ...
