On Nonlinear Observer Parameterizations and Its Application to Fault Detection ★ ★This work has been supported in part by the NSFC under Grants 61473004, 61174052 and 61210012.

open access: yesIFAC-PapersOnLine, 2015
Abstract This paper investigates observer parameterizations and its application to observer-based fault detection for nonlinear systems. With the aid of coprime factorization techniques, the observer parameterization forms are first derived in terms of input-to-output approach and state space representation.

MET and NF2 alterations confer primary and early resistance to first‐line alectinib treatment in ALK‐positive non‐small‐cell lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Alectinib resistance in ALK+ NSCLC depends on treatment sequence and EML4‐ALK variants. Variant 1 exhibited off‐target resistance after first‐line treatment, while variant 3 and later lines favored on‐target mutations. Early resistance involved off‐target alterations, like MET and NF2, while on‐target mutations emerged with prolonged therapy.

Learning to Win in Evolutionary Two-person Boolean Game with Fixed Strategy Updating Rule**This work was partially supported by the National Natural Science Foundation in China (NSFC) under Grant 61473038.

open access: yesIFAC-PapersOnLine, 2015
Abstract This paper introduces an algorithm to learn the strategy updating rule for a two- person Boolean game using the records of the history strategies and game results. The two-person game in this paper is introduced as a zero-sum game along with a Boolean strategy set, and the strategies are governed by fixed Boolean functions whose arguments ...

Comprehensive omics‐based classification system in adult patients with B‐cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The COMBAT classification system, developed through multi‐omics integration, stratifies adult patients with B‐cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia(B‐ALL) into three molecular subtypes with distinct surface antigen patterns, immune landscape, methylation patterns, biological pathways and prognosis.

A Family of Binary Sequences with 4-Valued Optimal Out-of-Phase Correlation and Large Linear Span [PDF]

open access: yesIEICE Transactions on Fundamentals of Electronics, Communications and Computer Sciences, 2006
In this paper, a new family (r) of 2n binary sequences of period 2n-1 is proposed, where n≡2 mod 4 and gcd (r, 2n/2-1)=1. The presented family takes 4-valued out-of-phase auto- and cross-correlation values -1, ±2n/2-1, and 2n/2+1-1, and its correlation distribution is determined.

Short peptide perturbs spermatogenesis via immune microenvironment dysregulation and mitochondrial imbalance

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
In the blood–testis barrier, occludin is crucial for tight junctions. This study demonstrates that occludin‐targeting short peptides disrupt junction integrity, inducing immune cell infiltration, tumor necrosis factor‐α/interleukin‐6 secretion and mitochondrial dysfunction, ultimately triggering apoptosis.

Robust Fault Estimation for Vehicle Lateral Dynamic Systems11Partially supported by the NSFC Grant (60574026) and the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation (1117303)

open access: yesIFAC Proceedings Volumes, 2006
Abstract For systems with unknown input disturbances, a robust state-space observer is designed to simultaneously estimate the system state, the finitely times derivatives of the fault, and the fault signal at the same time. The considered fault signal can be allowed to be unbounded provided its finitely times derivative is bounded.
