Advanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.Cobalt nitrides emerged recently as an interesting class of earth‐abundant oxygen evolution catalysts. Herein, plasma‐enhanced atomic layer deposition is used to synthesize multifunctional cobalt nitride layers that simultaneously protect and catalytically activate photoelectrode surfaces.
