The “Not Better Explained” (NBE) criterion plays a key role in preventing diagnostic misclassification by structuring causal reasoning in sleep medicine. This systematic content analysis compares the use, wording, and excluded conditions of NBE criteria across the ICSD‐3‐TR and DSM‐5‐TR for ten major sleep disorders.

Aim This network meta‐analysis of randomized controlled trials (RCTs) aimed to investigate which hypnotics are associated with the most favorable sleep architecture and respiratory outcomes in adults with obstructive sleep apnea. Methods Primary outcomes included total sleep time (TST) and apnea–hypopnea index (AHI) during TST.

Lateral hypothalamic orexin and melanin-concentrating hormone neurons provide direct input to gonadotropin-releasing hormone neurons in the human. [PDF]
Hypophysiotropic projections of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH)-synthesizing neurons form the final common output way of the hypothalamus in the neuroendocrine control of reproduction. Several peptidergic neuronal systems of the medial hypothalamus

Evaluation of metabolism-related molecules in rat model of autism spectrum disorders. [PDF]
Abstract Autism spectrum disorders (ASD) are neurodevelopmental pathologies. Investigating both sexes is crucial for understanding sex‐specific manifestations of ASD. This study aims to examine ASD‐like behaviours and metabolic alterations in male and female rats prenatally exposed to valproic acid (VPA).
