Analysis and Estimation Method for the Impact of Different Renewable Energy Ratios on Transient Overvoltage under DC Faults [PDF]
[Objective] To address the ambiguous trends in transient overvoltage caused by unclear definitions of renewable energy ratios, this paper investigates how fluctuations in renewable generation and random unit commitment lead to varying impacts under ...

Maintaining power quality (PQ) and minimizing carbon emissions are crucial for sustainable smart grids, especially with increasing renewable energy integration. This paper proposes a novel method combining Adaptive Q‐Wavelet Transform (AQWT) and Kalman Filtering (KF) to predict PQ disturbances and faults while analyzing their impact on carbon emissions.

Rhythms in longitudinal thalamic recordings are linked to seizure risk
Abstract Objective Seizure unpredictability remains a major clinical challenge for people with epilepsy. Previous works have shown that seizure risk is associated with circadian and multi‐day cycles in both brain and physiological signals. However, it remains unclear whether neural activity from deep brain structures such as the anterior nucleus of the

Abstract Background In FLASH radiotherapy, the dose is delivered using ultra‐high dose rates (UHDR), which are approximately 100 times higher than those used for conventional (CONV) treatments. This has shown promise in sparing normal tissue while maintaining tumour control.

Indirect Electrochemical Oxidation Using Active Chlorine for Treating Distillery Effluent
Indirect electrochemical oxidation (IEO) using MMO anode and SS cathode generates active chlorine species that rapidly decolorize and degrade organic pollutants in distillery wastewater. Optimization of current (0.27 A), pH (6), NaCl (6 g L−1), and electrode gap (2 cm) resulted in 85% COD removal with low energy demand (19.38 kWh kg−1 COD).
