Mucosal‐Associated Invariant T Cells in Health and Disease
The roles of MAIT cells in health and disease and their therapeutic applications. In healthy individuals, riboflavin metabolites secreted by commensal bacteria at mucosal sites are presented by MR1, leading to the activation of MAIT cells. Activated MAIT cells can maintain the barrier integrity of mucosal tissues in a steady state or migrate to the ...

Recent Applications of Propylene Carbonate as a Solvent in Sustainable Organic Synthesis
This review evaluates propylene carbonate (PC) as a non‐toxic green solvent in organic synthesis, highlighting its performance in key reactions including cross‐couplings, asymmetric hydrogenations, peptide synthesis and biocatalysis. Across these processes, PC delivers yields comparable to conventional and alternative green solvents.

Food‐derived bioactives, herbal extracts, and standardized botanical products are being investigated as adjunctive strategies for atopic dermatitis. Their biological activity is shaped not only by plant source and nominal dose, but also by fermentation, drying, heating, extraction, food‐matrix binding, gastrointestinal transformation, and formulation ...

Design of Fuel‐Dependent, Complex‐Coacervate‐Based Synthetic Cells
Fuel‐dependent synthetic cells form and persist only in the presence of chemical fuel, decaying under starvation. We establish design rules for hexapeptide‐based coacervates, showing that tryptophan enhances polyanion binding, extends lifetime, and reduces waste sensitivity.

N-[1-(1H-Benzimidazol-2-yl)-2-(5-chloro-3-methyl-1-phenyl-1H-pyrazol-4-yl)vinyl]benzamide
A novel benzimidazole derivative (2) was synthesized by hydrolyzing 4-[(5-chloro-3-methyl-1-phenyl-1H-pyrazol-4-yl)methylene]-2-phenyloxazol-5(4H)-one (1), the azlactone precursor in an acidic medium and treating the product with o-phenylenediamine (OPDA)

Differential effects of peptidoglycan recognition proteins on experimental atopic and contact dermatitis mediated by Treg and Th17 cells. [PDF]
Skin protects the body from the environment and is an important component of the innate and adaptive immune systems. Atopic dermatitis and contact dermatitis are among the most frequent inflammatory skin diseases and are both determined by multigenic ...
