Manganese catalyzed oximation of hydrocarbons to oximes. [PDF]

open access: yesNat Commun
Abstract Oximes are used in many scientific and industrial domains, ranging from organic synthesis through biotechnology to materials science. Traditionally, their synthesis necessitates the use of hydrocarbons with specific functional groups, such as carbonyls, which are often more challenging and expensive to obtain compared to their non ...

Poly(oxime–ester) Vitrimers with Catalyst-Free Bond Exchange [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of the American Chemical Society, 2019
Vitrimers are network polymers that undergo associative bond exchange reactions in the condensed phase above a threshold temperature, dictated by the exchangeable bonds comprising the vitrimer.

Benzamide oxime [PDF]

open access: yesActa Crystallographica Section E Structure Reports Online, 2008
In the crystal structure of the title compound, C(7)H(8)N(2)O, mol-ecules are connected via inter-molecular N-H⋯O and O-H⋯N hydrogen bonds to form a two-dimensional supra-molecular structure. The oxime group has an E configuration and the dihedral angle between the mean planes of the benzene ring and the amidoxime grouping is 20.2 (3)°.

Recent Advances in Molecule Synthesis Involving C-C Bond Cleavage of Ketoxime Esters

open access: yesMolecules, 2023
The synthetic strategies of oxime derivatives participating in radical-type reactions have been rapidly developed in the last few decades. Among them, the N–O bond cleavage of oxime esters leading to formation of nitrogen-centered radicals triggers ...

Electrosynthesis of a nylon-6 precursor from cyclohexanone and nitrite under ambient conditions

open access: yesNature Communications, 2023
Cyclohexanone oxime, an important nylon-6 precursor, is conventionally synthesized through cyclohexanone-hydroxylamine (NH2OH) and cyclohexanone ammoxidation methodologies.

Gold-Catalyzed Oxime–Oxime Rearrangement

open access: yesOrganic Letters, 2015
The gold-catalyzed reaction of pyrrole and indole oximes having a propargyl group attached to the nitrogen atom was studied. The selective 6-endo-dig mode of cyclization was observed for the terminal alkynes giving rise to the formation of pyrazine N-oxides in the presence of a gold catalyst.

Crystal structures and Hirshfeld surfaces of four methoxybenzaldehyde oxime derivatives, 2-MeO-XC6H3C=NOH (X = H and 2-, 3- and 4-MeO): different conformations and hydrogen-bonding patterns

open access: yesActa Crystallographica Section E: Crystallographic Communications, 2018
The crystal structures of four (E)-methoxybenzaldehyde oxime derivatives, namely (2-methoxybenzaldehyde oxime, 1, 2,3-dimethoxybenzaldehyde oxime, 2, 4-dimethoxybenzaldehyde oxime, 3, and 2,5-dimethoxybenzaldehyde oxime, 4, are discussed.

Vasorelaxation Induced by a New Naphthoquinone-Oxime is Mediated by NO-sGC-cGMP Pathway

open access: yesMolecules, 2014
It has been established that oximes cause endothelium-independent relaxation in blood vessels. In the present study, the cardiovascular effects of the new oxime 3-hydroxy-4–(hydroxyimino)-2-(3-methylbut-2-enylnaphtalen-1(4H)-one (Oxime S1) derived from
