Manganese catalyzed oximation of hydrocarbons to oximes. [PDF]

open access: yesNat Commun
Abstract Oximes are used in many scientific and industrial domains, ranging from organic synthesis through biotechnology to materials science. Traditionally, their synthesis necessitates the use of hydrocarbons with specific functional groups, such as carbonyls, which are often more challenging and expensive to obtain compared to their ...

Benzamide oxime [PDF]

open access: yesActa Crystallographica Section E Structure Reports Online, 2008
In the crystal structure of the title compound, C(7)H(8)N(2)O, mol-ecules are connected via inter-molecular N-H⋯O and O-H⋯N hydrogen bonds to form a two-dimensional supra-molecular structure. The oxime group has an E configuration and the dihedral angle between the mean planes of the benzene ring and the amidoxime grouping is 20.2 (3)°.

PHOSPHORYLPHOSPHATASE AND OXIMES [PDF]

open access: yesBritish Journal of Pharmacology and Chemotherapy, 1961
The effects of pralidoxime iodide, 1,1‐trimethylenebis(4‐formylpyridinium bromide) dioxime and diacetyl monoxime on the activity of phosphorylphosphatase prepared from pig kidney in vitro have been studied. It was found that these oximes, even at high concentrations, did not affect the activity of the enzyme.

Platinum Complexes with a Phosphino‐Oxime/Oximate Ligand [PDF]

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Inorganic Chemistry, 2018
The platinum(II) complex [PtCl2(COD)] (2; COD = 1,5‐cyclooctadiene) reacted with 1 and 2 equiv. of 2‐(diphenylphosphanyl)benzaldehyde oxime (1) to generate [PtCl2{κ2‐(P,N)‐2‐Ph2PC6H4CH=NOH}] (3) and [Pt{κ2‐(P,N)‐2‐Ph2PC6H4CH=NOH}2][Cl]2 (4), respectively.

Gold-Catalyzed Oxime–Oxime Rearrangement

open access: yesOrganic Letters, 2015
The gold-catalyzed reaction of pyrrole and indole oximes having a propargyl group attached to the nitrogen atom was studied. The selective 6-endo-dig mode of cyclization was observed for the terminal alkynes giving rise to the formation of pyrazine N-oxides in the presence of a gold catalyst.

Oximation and Nitrosation of Adrenalone [PDF]

open access: yesAgricultural and Biological Chemistry, 1977
Aromatic reductones are a group of reagents which split cellular DNA. To survey their cellular specifity, some reductone derivatives were prepared. 3, 4-Dihydroxyphenylglyoxime (II) was obtained by reflux of adrenalone (I) with hydroxylamine in ethanol, in 25% yield.

Erythromycin a oxime 11,12-carbonate and its oxime ethers.

open access: yesThe Journal of Antibiotics, 1989
Erythromycin A oxime 11,12-carbonate (5a) and its oxime ethers 5b approximately 5p have been prepared and their antibacterial activities compared with those of erythromycin A (1) and its 11,12-carbonate 2. The oxime 5a and many of its oxime ether derivatives showed good activity in vitro against Gram-positive and the more permeable Gram-negative ...

2,6-Dichlorobenzaldehyde oxime [PDF]

open access: yesActa Crystallographica Section E Structure Reports Online, 2008
In the title compound, C(7)H(5)Cl(2)NO, there are two mol-ecules in the asymmetric unit. The mol-ecules are essentially identical. Each mol-ecule is connected to a symmetry-related mol-ecule through an inversion center by O-H⋯N hydrogen bonds, building an R(2) (2)(6) graph-set motif.

Formaldehyde Oxime ⇌ Nitrosomethane Tautomerism. [PDF]

open access: yesThe Journal of Organic Chemistry, 2001
Formaldehyde oxime nitrosomethane tautomerism, isomeric nitrone, and their common cations and anions are studied with Gaussian-2 theory using MP2(full)/6-31G geometries and with density functional theory using B3LYP/6-311+G**. Geometrical parameters, harmonic vibrational frequencies, relative stabilities, conformational stabilities, and ionization ...
