Recent Advances in N-O Bond Cleavage of Oximes and Hydroxylamines to Construct N-Heterocycle

open access: yesMolecules, 2023
Oximes and hydroxylamines are a very important class of skeletons that not only widely exist in natural products and drug molecules, but also a class of synthon, which have been widely used in industrial production.

From Mechanisms to Materials: Oximate Reactivity and Emerging Strategies for Organophosphate Detoxification. [PDF]

open access: yesChemphyschem
The development of effective strategies for the detoxification of organophosphorus (OP) nerve agents has evolved from the early mechanistic studies of François Terrier and collaborators, who first elucidated the exceptional nucleophilicity of α‐effect species such as oximes and hydroxamates, to the modern design of supramolecular and material‐based ...

Gold-Catalyzed Oxime–Oxime Rearrangement

open access: yesOrganic Letters, 2015
The gold-catalyzed reaction of pyrrole and indole oximes having a propargyl group attached to the nitrogen atom was studied. The selective 6-endo-dig mode of cyclization was observed for the terminal alkynes giving rise to the formation of pyrazine N-oxides in the presence of a gold catalyst.

The Evaluation of the Potency of Newly Developed Oximes (K727, K733) and Trimedoxime to Counteract Acute Neurotoxic Effects of Tabun in Rats

open access: yesActa Medica, 2016
Aim: The ability of two newly developed oximes (K727, K733) to reduce tabun-induced acute neurotoxic signs and symptoms was evaluated and compared with currently available trimedoxime in rats.

Synthesis of Trifluoromethylated Monoterpene Amino Alcohols

open access: yesMolecules, 2022
For the first time, monoterpene trifluoromethylated β-hydroxy-benzyl-O-oximes were synthesized in 81–95% yields by nucleophilic addition of the Ruppert–Prakash reagent (TMSCF3) to the corresponding β-keto-benzyl-O-oximes based on (+)-nopinone ...

Conversion of Natural Aldehydes from Eucalyptus citriodora, Cymbopogon citratus, and Lippia multiflora into Oximes: GC-MS and FT-IR Analysis †

open access: yesMolecules, 2009
Three carbonyl-containing extracts of essential oils from Eucalyptus citriodora (Myrtaceae), Cymbopogon citratus (Gramineae) and Lippia multiflora (Verbenaceae) were used for the preparation of oximes.

Porous silica spheres as indoor air pollutant scavengers [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
Porous silica spheres were investigated for their effectiveness in removing typical indoor air pollutants, such as aromatic and carbonyl-containing volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and compared to the commercially available polymer styrene ...

A Comparison of the Therapeutic Efficacy of Conventional and Modern Oximes Against Supralethal Doses of Highly Toxic Organophosphates in Mice

open access: yesActa Medica, 1998
1. The therapeutic efficacy of various oximes (pralidoxime, obidoxime, methoxime, HI-6, HLö-7, BI-6) against supralethal nerve agent poisoning (soman, sarin, cyclosin) in mice was tested. 2. New oxime BI-6, synthesized in our laboratory, is significantly
