An orbital‐hybridizable nanoseed (OHNS) interphase induces strong orbital hybridization between Zn and carbon edges, accelerating Zn nucleation while suppressing 2D surface diffusion. This interfacial electronic regulation drives uniform, dense, and (002)‐oriented Zn growth, enabling stable and fast charging behavior in anode‐free aqueous Zn batteries.

Polymer electrolytes (PEs) are often indiscriminately grouped as “solid polymer electrolytes (SPEs)”, despite fundamental differences in their ion‐transport mechanisms. This Perspective establishes a mechanism‐based framework that distinguishes gel, quasi‐solid, and all‐solid polymer electrolytes based on their dominant ion‐transport pathways.

Delivery Systems for Therapeutic Genome Editing: Challenges, Innovations, and Future Perspectives
Schematic illustration of four emerging CRISPR–Cas delivery platforms defined by distinct design principles and structural features: virus‐mimicking nanosystems (e.g., VLPs), cell‐derived extracellular vesicles, cell‐penetrating peptides, and stimuli‐responsive scaffolds. These platforms enable spatiotemporally controlled delivery of RNPs, mRNA, or DNA

This work quantifies charge–transfer kinetics at lithium│polymer interfaces by measuring the exchange current density and links this behavior to the plating/stripping Coulombic efficiency. By comparing a range of polymer electrolytes, it shows that slower interfacial charge transfer and more protective interphases lead to higher lithium plating and ...

Straightforward access to oxazole‐containing piperidines through a multicomponent reaction from α‐isocyanoacetates is described. By expanding the reactivity of these a‐isocyanoacetates from aldehydes to ketones, this process efficiently delivers oxazolyl‐piperidines bearing a quaternary stereocenter as valuable scaffolds relevant to drug discovery. The

C-Linked Glycomimetic Libraries Accessed by the Passerini Reaction [PDF]
Carbohydrates and their conjugates are the most abundant natural products, with diverse and highly important biological roles. Synthetic glycoconjugates are versatile tools used to probe biological systems and interfere with them. In an endeavor to provide an efficient route to glycomimetics comprising structurally diverse carbohydrate units, we ...

Gap‐Seeded Nucleation of Single Ag Nanoparticles for Filamentary Memristors
A new fabrication method for filamentary Ag memristors is presented. Single Ag nanoparticles are nucleated at predefined locations in a Pt gap via an aqueous electroless plating process. Conditioned into a memristor, small footprints of < 100 × 100 nm2 and low switching voltages were realized.

Enhancing Lithium‐Metal Battery Safety and Performance with Ether‐Aided Ionic Liquid Electrolytes
A new dual‐anion ionic liquid (IL) electrolyte was created using an ether‐type cosolvent, i.e., 1,2‐dimethoxyethane (DME). Adding 20 wt.% DME improves lithium‐ion mobility and helps form a stable solid electrolyte interphase. This optimized electrolyte allows for better long‐term cycling and higher capacity in lithium cells compared to the pure IL ...

Unconventional Passerini Reaction toward α-Aminoxy-amides
The Passerini multicomponent reaction (P-3CR) toward the one-step synthesis of α-aminoxy-amide, by employing for the first time a N-hydroxamic acid component, has been reported. The sonication-accelerated, catalyst-free, simple, fast, and highly efficient Passerini reaction is used for the synthesis of diverse α-aminoxy-amides.
