Multiple model methods in path following II

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications, 2000
[For Part I see ibid. 251, 609--623 (2000; Zbl 0964.93070).] For hybrid estimation problems arising in nonlinear systems operating sequentially in different modal regimes, modifications of the Gaussian wavelet estimator are considered working also under discontinuity conditions and the possibility of measurement failure. For illustration, an example of

Meta-path Augmented Response Generation

open access: yes, 2018
We propose a chatbot, namely Mocha to make good use of relevant entities when generating responses. Augmented with meta-path information, Mocha is able to mention proper entities following the conversation flow.Comment: AAAI ...

Raman‐based label‐free microscopic analysis of the pancreas in living zebrafish larvae

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Forward stimulated Raman scattering (F‐SRS) and epi coherent anti‐Stokes Raman scattering (E‐CARS) allow label‐free discrimination of distinct subcellular structures in the pancreas of living zebrafish larvae. Given the straightforward applicability, we anticipate broad implementation of Raman microscopy in other organs and across various biomedical ...

Enzymatic degradation of biopolymers in amorphous and molten states: mechanisms and applications

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
This review explains how polymer morphology and thermal state shape enzymatic degradation pathways, comparing amorphous and molten biopolymer structures. By integrating structure–reactivity principles with insights from thermodynamics and enzyme engineering, it highlights mechanisms that enable efficient polymer breakdown.

Polarization‐resolved femtosecond Vis/IR spectroscopy tailored for resolving weak signals in biological samples using minimal sample volume

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Unique biological samples, such as site‐specific mutant proteins, are available only in limited quantities. Here, we present a polarization‐resolved transient infrared spectroscopy setup with referencing to improve signal‐to‐noise tailored towards tracing small signals. We provide an overview of characterizing the excitation conditions for polarization‐
