Influence of Riv on PC12 cell viability.

open access: yes, 2018
PC12 cells were treated with Riv for 24 h. Cell viability was determined using a WST-1 assay, and the results are expressed as a percentage of the control value (0 μM).

Coaxial Melt Electrowriting

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, Volume 11, Issue 18, 18 September 2026.
Coaxial melt electrowriting is established to produce dual‐property microfibers with diameters spanning 1.6–29.2 µm. Stable coaxial laminar flow is preserved under electrohydrodynamic thinning, enabling controlled binary and gradient material switching within individual continuous fibers.

Closed‐Loop Decoding and Intervention of Pain: A Novel BMI Strategy Integrating θ‐Band Detection and Mechano‐Electro‐Biological Coupled Hydrogels

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 52, 18 September 2026.
A closed‐loop brain–machine interface with a PFAPT hydrogel electrode identifies prefrontal θ‐band as a neuropathic pain biomarker. The hydrogel enables stable 28 d ECoG recording and delivers θ‐triggered cortical stimulation, alleviating pain and affective behaviors in rats via bidirectional regulation of inflammation and central sensitization ...

Transcriptome profiling of neuronal model cell PC12 from rat pheochromocytoma

open access: yes, 2009
GeneChip microarray is a cutting-edge technology being used to study the expression patterns of genes with in a particular cell type. In this study, the Affymetrix RAE230A platform was used to profile stably expressed mRNA transcripts from PC12 cells at ...

The Src homology 2 domain protein shb transmits basic fibroblast growth factor - and nerve growth factor - dependent differentiation signals in PC12 cells1

open access: yes, 1998
To assess a possible role for the Src homology 2 (SH2) domain adaptor protein Shb in PC12 cell signal transduction and differentiation, we have investigated the expression of Shb in PC12 cells and found that the differentiation factors nerve growth ...

α‐Synuclein Aggregate‐Disassembling Compounds Prolong Survival in a Mouse Model of Parkinson's Disease

open access: yesAggregate, Volume 7, Issue 9, September 2026.
All‐D peptides that bind monomeric α‐synuclein shift the aggregation equilibrium, dismantle pathogenic fibrils, and suppress seeding activity in vitro and in cells. In a Parkinson's disease mouse model, treatment delays disease progression and extends survival, supporting direct aggregate disassembly as a disease‐modifying therapeutic strategy for ...

Chronic Paraquat Neurotoxicity and Dopaminergic Degeneration: A Mechanistic Review

open access: yesChemistry &Biodiversity, Volume 23, Issue 9, September 2026.
Occurrence of Parkinson's disease (PD) based on several neurotoxins. Advanced and comprehensive mechanisms based on Paraquat‐induced PD. Mechanism of oxidative stress, ROS and RNS formation, and death of dopaminergic neurons. The modulation of genes and proteins by paraquat leads to Parkinsonism.
