Differences in beta-lactam and penicillin allergy: Beyond the West and focusing on Asia-Pacific
Beta-lactam (BL) antibiotic “allergy” labels are common, but often overdiagnosed. Although much research has been focused on the BL allergy and the delabelling process in the West, studies from other parts of the world remain sparse. This review outlines

Management of Beta-Lactam Antibiotics Allergy: A Real-Life Study
Beta-lactam allergy is a common problem in everyday medical practice and is recognized as a major public health issue. Carrying this label frequently leads to the avoidance of all beta-lactam antibiotics, favoring the use of other less preferred classes ...

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.
