Penelitian mengenai analisis teoritik aktivitas antioksidan dan sitotoksik senyawa turunan antosianin telah dilakukani menggunakan metode Density Functional Theory (DFT)/B3LYP/6-31G menggunkan program Gaussian 16 W. Kereaktifan senyawa turunan antosianin dapat diurutkan sebagai berikut: petunidin > delphinidin > sianidin.

Background: Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a progressive neurodegenerative disorder marked by memory loss and cognitive decline, where microglia activation triggers neuroinflammation, leading to neuronal damage. Shifting microglia polarization toward an anti-inflammatory phenotype may slow AD progression.
