Overview of the effects of Pax1‐SAR deletion on gene expression, IVD degeneration, and resultant scoliotic‐like curvature between sexes. Proposed mechanism of sex‐dependent changes in gene expression in females (right) and males (left), resulting in sex‐dependent disc degeneration and scoliotic phenotypes.

LMP is responsible for lysosomal dysfunction in IDD. The lipid composition changes in the lysosomal membrane, mediated by PLA2G15, are the cause of LMP. The C/EBPα significantly promotes PLA2G15 expression under PA overload stress. Inhibition of PLA2G15 alleviates PA‐induced LMP by inhibiting the hydrolysis of lysosomal membrane phospholipids. ABSTRACT Circadian rhythms orchestrate cardiovascular physiology by regulating immune and inflammatory pathways. Disruption of these rhythms profoundly alters vascular homeostasis, thereby promoting the onset and progression of cardiovascular diseases (CVD).

Pretreatment with New Zealand blackcurrant anthocyanins nonsignificantly reduced TNF‐α–induced PAI‐1 release in bronchial epithelial cells. The small sample size may have influenced the lack of statistical significance. This study provides preliminary evidence of possible effects of NZBC anthocyanins on PAI‐1 secretion but warrants further extensive ...

The Aging Microenvironment Shapes Angiogenic Remodeling in IBD‐Associated Colorectal Carcinogenesis
In IBD, chronic inflammation promotes cellular senescence across epithelial, stromal, endothelial, and immune compartments. The resulting SASP drives pathological angiogenesis, vascular dysfunction, hypoxia, and immune suppression, thereby facilitating progression from inflammation to dysplasia and colitis‐associated colorectal cancer.

Calpain‐4 knockdown in alcohol‐related liver disease promotes LXRα nuclear translocation and HMGCR cleavage, enhancing cholesterol efflux via upregulation of ABCA1/ABCG1 and CPT‐1. This mechanism reduces hepatic cholesterol accumulation and microvesicular steatosis without affecting triglycerides or inflammatory markers, identifying calpain‐4 as a ...

ABSTRACT Aims The burden of chronic liver disease (CLD) is increasing. This study aims to identify protein markers for CLD and its progression, and develop a protein‐based risk prediction model. Materials and Methods We used proteome‐wide Mendelian randomization (MR), Bayesian colocalization and summary‐data‐based MR with proteomic data from deCODE ...

ABSTRACT Skin boosters are increasingly used to improve dermal quality through injectable and device‐assisted approaches; however, definitions and clinical evidence remain heterogeneous. Aims To provide an updated overview and propose a practical classification of skin boosters, including mechanisms, delivery methods, clinical outcomes, and limitations.
