An isoform of 14‐3‐3 protein regulates transbilayer lipid movement at the plasma membrane
Loss of 14‐3‐3ζ in CHO cells confers resistance to exogenous phosphatidylserine (PS) and impairs endocytosis‐independent inward flip‐flop of fluorescent PS at the plasma membrane. RNAi‐mediated knockdown reproduces this defect, while no additive effect is seen in ATP11C‐deficient cells.

Degradation mechanism of the von Willebrand factor A2 domain by nattokinase
Nattokinase, a natto‐derived protease, exhibits potent antithrombotic effects. This study demonstrates that nattokinase directly cleaves the von Willebrand factor (vWF) A2 domain in vitro. Unlike the native regulator ADAMTS13, nattokinase degrades folded vWF independently of shear stress.

Frozen and cold-stored platelets: reconsidered platelet products
Platelet transfusion, both prophylactic and therapeutic, is a key element in modern medicine. Currently, the standard platelet product for clinical use is platelet concentrates at room temperature (20–24°C) under gentle agitation.

Variation of pH-measurement in platelet concentrates
To measure pH in platelet concentrates, blood gas analysers with different calibration principles may be used. In this study, variances observed in pH measurements with two types of blood gas analysers were investigated.

CT10 regulator of kinase (CRK) and CRK‐Like (CRKL) are signaling adaptors driving cell adhesion, motility, differentiation, and proliferation. SH2‐domain containing (SH) proteins are enriched in YXXP motifs which when phosphorylated create preferred binding sites for CRK family SH2 domains.

Separation, Concentration, and Transfusion of Platelets.
Summary(1) A simple method is presented for the efficient separation and concentration of platelets from human, dog, and guinea pig blood in quantities sufficient for transfusion. (2) This method depends upon the use of Sequesterene Na2 as an anticoagulant, which prevents the development of platelet stickiness and clumping in shed blood.

Flow cytometric characterization of platelet activation in platelet concentrates
A caracterização da expressão das glicoproteínas de superfície plaquetária e superfície pró-coagulante por citometria de fluxo é uma técnica sensível para identificação da ativação plaquetária em concentrados de plaquetas.

Pre‐analytical handling critically determines liquid biopsy performance. This study defines practical best‐practice conditions for cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) and extracellular vesicle–derived DNA (evDNA), showing how processing time, storage conditions, tube type, and plasma input volume affect DNA integrity and mutation detection.

Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated
