Anti-Mouse GPI-PLD Antisera Highlight Structural Differences between Murine and Bovine GPI-PLDs
Biological Chemistry, 2003AbstractDespite its well characterised biochemistry, the physiological role of glycosylphosphatidylinositolspecific phospholipase D (GPIPLD) is unknown. Most of the previous studies investigating the distribution of GPI-PLD have focused on the human and bovine forms of the enzyme.

This chapter gave an overview of mechanisms, tools, and processes used for taking a design from the design stage to an FPLD implementation. This overview contained information that will become clearer in the chapters that follow. We tried to make this information as generic as possible and not bound to a specific tool or environment.

One measure of the effectiveness of fault tolerance in a circuit is fault coverage, the ratio of the number of faults detectable or correctable to the number of possible faults. Fault simulation can provide an estimate of the fault coverage, but is often prohibitively slow if performed in software.

Trabectedin in combination with pegylated liposomal doxorubicin (PLD) improves progression-free survival (PFS) compared to PLD alone in recurrent ovarian cancer (J Clin Oncol 2010;28:3107-14).Women, stratified by performance status (0-1 versus 2) and platinum sensitivity (platinum-free interval [PFI]

To illustrate the concepts of designing with a HDL for PLDs a number of examples have been implemented using MACHXL. The designs start with a simple AND function and increase in complexity to some quite sophisticated state machine designs and Reduced Instruction Set Computer (RISC) design.

PLDs ease multiprocessor system design
[1991] Proceedings Fourth Annual IEEE International ASIC Conference and Exhibit, 2002Highlights the advantages of using programmable logic devices in common-bus multiprocessor designs. This discussion is limited to common-bus architectures due to their popularity. The processors used in common-bus architectures can be tightly-coupled (communication via shared memory) or loosely coupled (communication via message-passing bus network). >

Optimisation of PLD Parameters
2017Progress in the fabrication of ZnO-based optoelectronic devices lies in producing reproducible, reliable and stable p-type ZnO films, because of the intrinsic n-type nature of the deposited ZnO films. Hence, for successful conversion of its carriers from n-type to p-type, it is desirable that the deposited ZnO film has as low an electron concentration ...

The PLD superfamily: insights into catalysis
Biochimica et Biophysica Acta (BBA) - Molecular and Cell Biology of Lipids, 1999Knowledge of the PLD superfamily is rapidly expanding and new insights into the mechanism and regulation of the superfamily are rapidly emerging. The recent structural analysis and use of mutant proteins suggest a mechanism that involves two active sites acting in concert.
