Matrix Stiffness Induces Endothelial Network Senescence

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Using a 3D human in vitro model that decouples mechanical stress from inflammatory or biochemical signals, matrix stiffening induces a senescence phenotype in endothelial networks. This mechano‐induced senescence activates Notch signaling, and pharmacologic Notch inhibition attenuates this stiffness‐induced senescence.

PRE-SERVICE TEACHERS' BELIEFS ABOUT THE IMAGE OF A SCIENCE TEACHER AND SCIENCE TEACHING [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Baltic Science Education, 2015
This study examines pre-service teachers’ beliefs about the images of a science teacher and the science teaching. Besides, how their beliefs are affected from inquiry-based teaching is investigated. Case study method was used. Pre-service teachers had learned science with inquiry and how they teach science with inquiry in the science laboratory.

The E3 Ubiquitin Ligase RLIM Safeguards Oligodendrocyte Development and Myelination by Targeting SLC7A11 for Polyubiquitination to Regulate Ferroptotic Resistance

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
RLIM‐mediated SLC7A11 polyubiquitination is required for SPTBN2‐mediated trafficking and membrane localization of SLC7A11, which enables oligodendrocyte precursor cells to be resistant to ferroptosis and safeguards oligodendrocyte lineage progression and thus myelination.

StackingNet: Collective Inference Across Independent AI Foundation Models

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Artificial intelligence (AI) built on large foundation models has transformed language understanding, computer vision, and reasoning, yet these systems remain isolated and cannot readily share their capabilities. Coordinating the complementary strengths of independently developed, black‐box foundation models is essential for trustworthy ...

Unraveling Bone‐Skin Crosstalk Enables miRNA Nanoformulation for Cutaneous Neurovascular Reconstruction in Diabetic Mice

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study unravels that bone fracture accelerates diabetic wound healing by releasing exosomal microRNA (miR‐130b‐3p). To mimic this bone‐skin crosstalk, we engineered a self‐assembling agomir‐130b‐3p nanocomplex. Delivered via a photocrosslinkable hydrogel, this bio‐inspired therapy provides sustained localized agomir release.
