Electropulse‐Driven Dislocation Evolution in Sub‐10 nm Metallic Nanocrystals

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Atomic‐scale TEM imaging reveals how nanosecond electropulses drive dislocation evolution in sub‐10 nm metallic nanocrystals. Enhanced electron scattering at structural heterogeneities nucleates dislocation loops and dipoles, which then repeatedly interact and annihilate, causing dislocation density fluctuations or structural disordering.

STWave: Fine‐Scale Spatial Structure Discovery in Microscopic‐Resolution Spatial Transcriptomics via Patchwise Wavelet Graphs

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
STWave transforms massive microscopic‐resolution spatial transcriptomics into interpretable fine‐scale tissue maps through patch‐wise inference, wavelet‐based multi‐scale encoding, and dual‐domain reconstruction. It reduces noise while preserving weak spatial signals, enabling efficient analysis of 6 40 000 spots of 2.47 GB GPU memory and revealing ...

Sensor Data Fusion for Body State Estimation in a Bipedal Robot and Its Feedback Control Application for Stable Walking

open access: yesSensors, 2015
We report on a sensor data fusion algorithm via an extended Kalman filter for estimating the spatial motion of a bipedal robot. Through fusing the sensory information from joint encoders, a 6-axis inertial measurement unit and a 2-axis inclinometer, the ...

Advances in Se Wide‐Bandgap Photovoltaics and TexSe1‐x SWIR Photodiodes

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In this review, fundamental properties and current challenges in Se photovoltaics (PVs) for tandem and indoor PVs and TexSe1‐x alloys for short wave infrared photodiodes are discussed. A case is made for the practicality of elemental chalcogenide optoelectronics, and a pathway toward resolving the key challenges in these respective technologies is ...

Programmable Sequential 4D Actuation in Multistable Kirigami Metamaterials

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study presents a modular kirigami metamaterial framework enabling programmable multistability and sequential 4D actuation. By coupling geometry‐controlled multistability with material‐dependent recovery kinetics, spatiotemporal deformation can be precisely programmed.

Robust Preview Control for Half-Vehicle Active Suspension System of Hub-Driven Electric Vehicles with Coupling Effects

open access: yesShock and Vibration
The mechanical-electrical-magnetic coupling effects caused by the air gap deformation in in-wheel motors exacerbate motor magnetic force oscillation, deteriorating the in-wheel motor operation and ride comfort.

Nrsn1–Smarcc1 Coupling Regulates Neural Stem Cell Differentiation and Chronic‐phase Recovery After Ischemic Stroke

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In the post‐stroke brain, Foxa2 induces the transcriptional upregulation of Nrsn1 in NSCs. Nrsn1 functionally couples with Smarcc1, modulating its nuclear availability and protein abundance, thereby influencing Smarcc1‐associated regulatory programs linked to neuronal lineage commitment. Through this coupling, Nrsn1 promotes the differentiation of NSCs

Preview Control for Cyber–Physical Systems under Periodic Denial-of-Service Attacks

open access: yesMathematics
In this paper, the preview control problem for cyber–physical systems (CPSs) under denial-of-service (DOS) attacks is studied. First, we employ an attack-tolerant strategy to design an augmented error system (AES) for scenarios where both state and ...
