Whole-genome sequence of Pseudomonas sp. strain HOU2 isolated from dangshen (Codonopsis javanica) roots [PDF]
Objectives This study aims to generate a de novo complete whole-genome assembly of Pseudomonas sp. strain HOU2, which is an endophytic bacterium isolated from dangshen roots that shows to improve the growth of in vitro dangshen plants.

Pseudomonas anatoliensis sp. nov and Pseudomonas iridis sp. nov. isolated from fish [PDF]
In a study carried out between 2013 and 2018 in fish farms in Turkey, several putative novel species were isolated. The 16S rRNA nucleotide sequences of fourteen strains of Gram-negative rods, which were isolated from asymptomatic and symptomatic rainbow trouts (Onchorhynchus mykiss), placed them under the genus Pseudomonas.

Phosphate solubilizing rhizobacteria isolated from jujube ziziphus lotus plant stimulate wheat germination rate and seedlings growth [PDF]
Jujube plant (Ziziphus lotus (L.) Desf.) can survive in arid climates and tolerates both biotic and abiotic stresses. Here, we isolated, for the first time in Morocco, nine phosphate solubilizing bacteria strains from jujube rhizosphere, designated J10 ...

Unusual long-chain N-acyl homoserine lactone production by and presence of quorum quenching activity in bacterial isolates from diseased tilapia fish. [PDF]
Growth-dependent cell-cell communication termed quorum sensing is a key regulatory system in bacteria for controlling gene expression including virulence factors. In this study five potential bacterial pathogens including Bacillus sp. W2.2, Klebsiella sp.

Degradation of bromacil by a Pseudomonas sp [PDF]
A gram-negative rod, identified as a Pseudomonas sp., was isolated from soil by using bromacil as the sole source of carbon and energy. During growth on bromacil or 5-bromouracil, almost stoichiometric amounts of bromide were released. The bacterium was shown to harbor two plasmids approximately 60 and 100 kilobases in size.

Degradation of 2-chloroallylalcohol by a Pseudomonas sp [PDF]
Three Pseudomonas strains capable of utilizing 2-chloroallylalcohol (2-chloropropenol) as the sole carbon source for growth were isolated from soil. The fastest growth was observed with strain JD2, with a generation time of 3.6 h. Degradation of 2-chloroallylalcohol was accompanied by complete dehalogenation.
