In this study, we synthesized 7-But-2-ynyl-3-methyl-8-morpholin-4-yl-3,4,5,7-tetrahydro-purine-2,6-diones from 8-Bromo-7-but-2-ynyl-3-methyl-3,4,5,7-tetrahydro-purine-2,6-dione and morpholine using lithium hydroxide and DMSO as a medium.

This study explores the origins of life by linking prebiotic chemistry, the emergence of information‐carrying molecules such as RNA and proteins, and philosophical questions about consciousness. The study emphasizes the role of molecular evolution in the Central Dogma and provides insights into the chemical origins of biology and the basis of life's ...

A Functionally Conserved Enhancer is Critical for PGC1A Expression and Thermogenesis in Brown Fat
An evolutionarily conserved enhancer controls PGC1A expression and thermogenic activation in brown adipose tissue. Integrative multi‐omics analyses identify two BAT‐specific enhancers, with PGC1A‐En1 functioning as the dominant regulatory element that maintains thermogenic capacity across species.

The use of urinary purine derivatives to estimate microbial protein supply and feed intake [PDF]
The urinary excretion of allantoin was first suggested as an index of rumen microbial protein yield about 30 years ago. Major progress towards establishing a method to relate purine derivatives excretion to microbial protein yield has only been made tn ...

A dual‐targeting strategy to rejuvenate aged tendons. A reactive oxygen species (ROS)‐responsive hydrogel co‐delivers a selenium nanozyme (scavenges ROS) and a STING inhibitor to tendon stem cells. This combined action restores mitochondria–nucleus communication, alleviates cellular senescence, and rejuvenates tendon regeneration, offering a novel ...
