To better understand the formation of short-chain acids in combustion systems [PDF]
International audienceOur study aims at a better control and understanding of the transfer of a complex [DNA supercoiled plasmid - dodecyltrimethylammonium surfactant] layer from a liquid-vapour water interface onto a silicon surface without any ...

Abrogation of Antitumor Effects of Corynebacterium parvum and BeG by Antimacrophage Agents: Brief Communication [PDF]
The consistently demonstrable antitumor effect of Corynebacterium parvum and BCG against a 7,12-dimethylbenz[a]anthracene-induced rat fibrosarcoma, growing either as a localized subcutaneous tumor or in ascites form, was abrogated by treatment of rats ...

Development of fast switching photochromic coatings on transparent plastics and glass [PDF]
A new photochromic organic-inorganic nanocomposite (Nanomer(R)) coating system has been developed. It is based on an epoxysilane as network former, an organic bisepoxide as spacer, an organic amine as thermal cross-linker and surface modified SiO2 ...

Modeling Pyran Formation in the Molybdenum Cofactor: Protonation of Quinoxalyl–Dithiolene Promoting Pyran Cyclization [PDF]
Mononuclear Mo and W enzymes require a unique ligand known as molybdopterin (MPT). This ligand binds the metal through a dithiolene chelate, and the dithiolene bridges a reduced pyranopterin group. Pyran scission and formation have been proposed as a reaction of the MPT ligand that may occur within the enzymes to adjust reactivity at the Mo atom.

An acido- and photochromic molecular device that mimics triode action [PDF]
© The Royal Society of Chemistry 2016. The photo-controlled shift of pH titration curves, describing the acidochromic behaviour of a spiropyran switch network, was harnessed for the realisation of a molecular triode.
