This study aimed to investigate the potential of a mannan‐rich fraction (MRF) as a dietary intervention to alleviate weaning stress in piglets. Our results revealed that MRF could alleviate weaning stress by modulating the gut microbiota and the TLR5/NF‐κB signaling pathway, offering a novel and sustainable alternative to antibiotic use in swine ...

Hyperconjugation Promotes Catalysis in a Pyridoxal 5′-Phosphate-Dependent Enzyme
Pyridoxal 5′-phosphate (PLP)-dependent enzymes facilitate reaction specificity by aligning the scissile σ-bond of the PLP-substrate covalent complex perpendicular to the ring of the cofactor.

Biological Role of Carbamoyl pyridoxal 5'-phosphate
A new compound, carbamoyl-pyridoxal 5'-phosphate (C-PLP), was synthetized by condensation of pyridoxal 5'-phosphate (PLP) with KCNO. It may be obtained under certain physiological conditions of pH, temperature and concentration of reagents. Formation and

This work introduces the concept of pseudoglucosinolates (psGSLs) and reports the synthesis and evaluation of nitroreductase‐responsive psGSLs. These compounds represent a complementary prodrug strategy to natural glucosinolates (GSLs) for the controlled release of isothiocyanates (ITCs), enabling bio‐responsive protein labeling, as demonstrated in ...
