Localizable Fluorescent Metal Ion Indicators With Tunable Colors
A modular platform enables the generation of fluorescent metal ion indicators with tunable emission colors and precise subcellular localization. Conjugation to self‐labeling proteins yields bright, color‐tunable potassium probes that permit wash‐free live‐cell imaging, revealing dynamic potassium efflux in stimulated neurons.

Characterization of the catalytic flexible loop in the dihydroorotase domain of the human multi-enzymatic protein CAD [PDF]
The dihydroorotase (DHOase) domain of the multifunctional protein carbamoyl-phosphate synthetase 2, aspartate transcarbamoylase, and dihydroorotase (CAD) catalyzes the third step in the de novo biosynthesis of pyrimidine nucleotides in animals.

Light‐switchable MSCs (MSC‐UCNPs) were constructed by intracellular incorporation of UCNPs. Upon 980 nm irradiation, UCNPs emitted localized ultraviolet light (365 nm), activating the ROS/HEXB/LAMP1 signaling pathway to suppress lysosome–multivesicular body fusion and thereby enhance exosome biogenesis. Embedded within an injectable hydrogel, MSC‐UCNPs

1-Methyl-1H-pyrazolo[3,4-d]pyrimidin-4(5H)-one
The title molecule, C6H6N4O, is essentially planar [dihedral angle between the rings = 0.46 (9)°]. The crystal structure consists of sheets of molecules lying parallel to (\overline{1}11) formed by a combination of N—H...O, C—H...O and C—H...H hydrogen ...

Metabolomic profiling of macrophages determines the discrete metabolomic signature and metabolomic interactome triggered by polarising immune stimuli [PDF]
Priming and activating immune stimuli have profound effects on macrophages, however, studies generally evaluate stimuli in isolation rather than in combination.

Electronic structure of the molecule based magnet Cu PM(NO3)2 (H2O)2
We present density functional calculations on the molecule based S=1/2 antiferromagnetic chain compound Cu PM(NO3)2 (H2O)2; PM = pyrimidine. The properties of the ferro- and antiferromagnetic state are investigated at the level of the local density ...

We identify two decisive levers for SAM interfaces: molecular design (carboxylic acid‐based, phosphonic acid, other anchoring chemistries, and polymeric SAMs) and mixing routes (co‐assembly, in situ assembly, pre‐ and post‐treatment). Coordinated tuning of headgroups and assembly pathways optimises energy alignment and film formation, suppresses ...
