First‐Principles Structure–Activity Relationship Insights Into Phenolic Scaffolds: QSAR Modeling and Drug‐Likeness Screening

open access: yesAdvanced Theory and Simulations, EarlyView.
Integrated machine learning framework for phenolic derivatives: classification (toxicity) and regression (logP) models identify top drug‐like compounds. Random Forest outperformed for toxicity, while Linear Regression best predicted logP. A weighted scoring approach prioritized five safe, lipophilicity‐optimized candidates, supporting rational ...

The kinetics of the reduction of the lipophilic quinone avarone by n-alkyl-1,4-dihydronicotinamides of various lipophilicities

open access: yesJournal of the Serbian Chemical Society, 1999
Several NADH model compounds, N-alkyl-1,4-dihydronicotinamides, some of them possessing amphiphilic properties, have been synthesized, and the kinetics of their reaction with a biologically active liphophilic quinone, avarone, has been studied in a ...

2‐line Ferrihydrite Enhance Microbial Synthesis of Plant Biostimulants in Composted Biosolid by Regulating Phyla Pseudomonadota and Actinomycetota

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study explores how iron and manganese oxides transform sewage sludge into plant biostimulants during composting. Non‐targeted identification reveals the main species of plant biostimulants. Metagenomic analysis reveals that 2‐line ferrihydrite specifically enriches microbial genes for biosynthesis, boosting plant‐growth promoters.

Quinol Oxidase Encoded by \u3cem\u3ecyoABCD\u3c/em\u3e in \u3cem\u3eRhizobium etli\u3c/em\u3e CFN42 is Regulated by ActSR and is Crucial for Growth at Low pH or Low Iron Conditions [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
Rhizobium etli aerobically respires with several terminal oxidases. The quinol oxidase (Cyo) encoded by cyoABCD is needed for efficient adaptation to low oxygen conditions and cyo transcription is upregulated at low oxygen. This study sought to determine
