Dual biomimetic active sites, i.e., mononuclear {ZnII(L)(H2O)} and dinuclear {L2ZnII(CHO2)(OH)ZnIIL2}, have been successfully intergrated into a metal–organic cage, Zn20‐MOC. These two different active sites in Zn20‐MOC catalyze different steps of cascade trimerization of 1,2‐diaminocyclohexane. The mononuclear {ZnII(L)(H2O)} site catalyzes the initial

Influence of amino acids on the formation of mutagenic/carcinogenic heterocydic amines in a model system [PDF]
Mixtures of creatinine, glucose and various single amino acids were heated at 180°C for 10 min in an aqueous model system. The heated mixtures all showed mutagenic activity, ranging from 80 to 2400 TA98 revertant colonies/μmol creatinine with metabolic ...

Three isoreticular Two dimensional (2D) conjugated metal–organic framework (2D c‐MOF) analogs with different redox‐active centers are synthesized as cathode materials for high‐performance sodium‐ion batteries. Notably, the [CuO4] and TTPQ (integrating both quinone and pyrazine structures) units within Cu‐TTPQ, serving as multiple redox‐active sites ...

A set of Z‐stereoretentive olefin metathesis catalysts was tested in the synthesis of a pheromone of rice yellow stem borer (Scirpophaga incertulas)—one of the major rice pests in Asia. ABSTRACT Stereoselective olefin metathesis offers access to geometrically well‐defined C–C double bonds and is considered a promising new method for transforming plant ...
