Hydrological Processes, Volume 35, Issue 1, January 2021., 2021 Standard laboratory methods resemble only a small portion of the wet range the Andosols' WRC, but overestimate substantially their water content for higher matric potentials as compared to field conditions. The discrepancy occurs irrespective of site‐specific characteristics and the laboratory method applied.
