Recovery of bacteria from RAW 264.7 cells up to 30 days post infection.

open access: yes, 2013
RAW 264.7 cells were infected as described and maintained in 3% FCS for a period of 30 days with regular media changes and maintenance of gentamycin at 50 µg/ml. Intracellular bacteria were harvested as before by lysing RAW 264.7 cells.

A ROS‐Responsive and Mucoadhesive Thermosensitive Hydrogel Encapsulated with Mizoribine for Synergistic Dry Eye Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The ROS‐responsive in situ thermosensitive MZR@SPPP hydrogel system enables dual‐stage drug loading and sustained ocular delivery. Upon administration, it gelates at ocular surface temperature, enhancing ocular adhesion. By scavenging free radicals, restoring NRF2‐mediated antioxidant defense and mitochondrial homeostasis, and suppressing inflammatory ...

RAW 264.7 cell phagocytosis assay v1

open access: yes
This protocol describes in vitro methods for evaluating phagocytosis using the macrophage-like cell line, RAW 264.7. The two methods discussed here include (1) a photographic phagocytosis assay, which is compatible with any target that is visible via 100x microscopy, and measures total uptake of target material per macrophage, and (2) the phagocytosis ...

Determining the Optimal Experimental Conditions for RAW 264.7 Cells

open access: yes, 2020
RAW 264.7 cells are murine macrophages derived from mice that are commonplace in microbiological research. There is a notable lack of consistency for the experimental conditions chosen by researchers working with this cell line. This variability makes it

HMGB1 induces time-dependent caspase activation in RAW 264.7 macrophages.

open access: yes, 2013
RAW 264.7 cells were exposed to HMGB1 (5 µg/ml) for 24, 48 or 72 hours. Activated Caspase-3 was detected in cell extracts by Western blotting. Tubulin was used for loading control.
