RB1CC1 activates RB1 pathway and inhibits proliferation and cologenic survival in human cancer.
RB1-inducible coiled-coil 1 (RB1CC1, also known as FIP200) plays a role in the enhancement of the RB1 pathway through the direct binding to a GC-rich region 201bp upstream (from the initiation ATG) of the RB1 promoter.

Berberine (BBR) up-regulated the RB1 mRNA, but couldn’t influence the activity of RB1 promoter.
(A) RB1 mRNA level in primary neurons as measured using real-time PCR. BBR (0.5 µg/ml) was added in the culture 1 h before OGD treatment and throughout the reperfusion time. Data represent the mean ± S.D.

Research progress on the role of inflammatory mediators in the pathogenesis of epilepsy
In the central nervous system, activated immune cells lead to the overproduction of inflammatory mediators through the corresponding signal pathway. Under the stimulation of inflammatory factors, neuroinflammation ultimately occurs. Overexpression of inflammatory mediators and activated immunocytes plays an important role in the emergence and ...

Rb1 does not inhibit Sirt1 depletion-induced senescence.
(A) The Sirt1 protein level was evaluated by a Western blot analysis 72 hours after siRNA transfection with or without Rb1 supplementation. (B) The PAI-1 protein expression was examined 72 hours after siRNA transfection.

Acute myeloid leukemia adult cases often appear cytogenetically normal when analyzed with conventional karyotyping. However, acquired structural variants may escape routine detection. Here, optical genome mapping detected diverse genomic alterations in nearly half of the analyzed cytogenetically normal cases.

Generation of a Retinoblastoma (Rb)1-inducible dominant negative (DN) mouse model
Retinoblastoma 1 (Rb1) is an essential gene regulating cellular proliferation, differentiation, and homeostasis. To exert these functions, Rb1 is recruited and physically interacts with a growing variety of signaling pathways.
