Mechanism of abnormal specification of spermatogonial stem cells after Rb1 knockout in mitotic-arrested prospermatogonia

open access: yes陆军军医大学学报
Objective‍ ‍To investigate the underlying mechanism of abnormal specification of spermatogonial stem cells (SSCs) in male mice following Rb1 conditional knockout in mitotic-arrested prospermatogonia.

Ginsenoside Rb1, A Major Saponin from Panax ginseng, Exerts Protective Effects Against Acetaminophen-Induced Hepatotoxicity in Mice

open access: yes, 2019
Acute liver injury (ALI) induced by acetaminophen (APAP) is the main cause of drug-induced liver injury. Previous reports indicated liver failure could be alleviated by saponins (ginsenosides) from Panax ginseng against APAP-induced inflammatory ...

Concurrent RB1 and TP53 alterations define a subset of EGFR-mutant lung cancers at risk for histologic transformation and inferior clinical outcomes

open access: yesJournal of Thoracic Oncology, 2019
Introduction: EGFR-mutant lung cancers are clinically and genomically heterogeneous with concurrent RB1/TP53 alterations identifying a subset at increased risk for small cell transformation.

Natural Products as Geroprotective Modulators in Diabetic Nephropathy: A Mechanistic Framework Integrating Aging Hallmarks and the AMPK–SIRT1–Nrf2 Axis

open access: yesAging and Cancer, EarlyView.
Natural products target the aging kidney in diabetic nephropathy by restoring the AMPK–SIRT1–Nrf2 axis, reducing oxidative stress, inflammation, fibrosis, and cellular senescence while enhancing mitochondrial biogenesis and antioxidant defenses.

Tourism as a driver of economic and social development in underdeveloped regions

open access: yesRegional Science Policy &Practice, EarlyView., 2023
Abstract Cross‐border cooperations have been usually approached by developing trade agreements between international regions to upgrade their socioeconomic conditions and promote international tourism flows in territories. However, little attention has been paid to the role that tourist companies play in underprivileged territories highly dependent on ...

Tailoring Phonon‐Driven Responses in α‐MoO3 through Isotopic Enrichment

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The implementation of polaritonic materials into nanoscale devices requires selective tuning of parameters to realize desired spectral or thermal responses. One robust material, α‐MoO3, an orthorhombic crystal boasting three distinct phonon dispersions, provides three polaritonic dispersions of hyperbolic phonon polaritons (HPhPs) across the ...

CDK4/6 Inhibition Induces CD8+ T Cell Antitumor Immunity via MIF‐Induced Functional Orchestration of Tumor‐Associated Macrophages

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
CDK4/6 inhibition promotes CD8+ T cell expansion through tumor‐macrophage crosstalk by activating HIF‐1α and enhancing MIF‐CD44/CD74 signaling. This reprograms TAMs to boost MHC‐I antigen presentation, and CDK4/6 inhibitor‐trained M1 TAM supernatant therapy synergizes with low‐dose PD‐1 blockade to restore antitumor immunity.

Retinoblastoma mutation predicts poor outcomes in advanced non small cell lung cancer

open access: yesCancer Medicine, 2019
The retinoblastoma gene (RB1) encodes the retinoblastoma (RB) pocket protein that plays an important role in cell cycle progression. Here we determine the frequency and prognostic significance of RB1 mutation in non small cell lung cancer (NSCLC ...

Proteomic analysis reveals that the protective effects of ginsenoside Rb1 are associated with the actin cytoskeleton in β-amyloid-treated neuronal cells

open access: yesJournal of Ginseng Research, 2016
Background: The ginsenoside Rb1 (Rb1) is the most abundant compound in the root of Panax ginseng. Recent studies have shown that Rb1 has a neuroprotective effect. However, the mechanisms underlying this effect are still unknown.

Interaction of Rb1 with viral hemagglutinin.

open access: yes, 2017
(A) Serially diluted A/Nanchang/8002/2009 (H1N1) virus was pre-incubated with different concentrations of Rb1 or HBSS for 1 hour and used for hemagglutination inhibition assay. A significant reduction in HA titer of Rb1 treated virus was observed in dose
