Ultra‐High Molecular Weight 21‐Arm Star‐Shaped Polyacrylates via Cu(0)‐RDRP
UHMW 21‐arm star polyacrylates are synthesized in a facile manner via Cu(0) wire‐RDRP, using a β‐cyclodextrin‐derived initiator, exhibiting low dispersity and limited star‐star coupling. End‐group fidelity is verified through in situ chain extension, while the rigid core and UHMW allow for TEM imaging of individual stars without staining.

Arboviruses and the challenge to establish systemic and persistent infections in competent mosquito vectors : the interaction with the RNAi mechanism [PDF]
Arboviruses are capable to establish long-term persistent infections in mosquitoes that do not affect significantly the physiology of the insect vectors. Arbovirus infections are controlled by the RNAi machinery via the production of viral siRNAs and the

ABSTRACT Tail fan necrosis (TFN) is a shell disease affecting spiny lobsters' outer integument, with significant implications for the health and commercial viability of red rock lobsters (Jasus edwardsii) in New Zealand. Despite its impact, the potential role of a microbial agent in TFN remains poorly understood.

The mechanisms of small RNA biogenesis in fungi are diverse and multifactorial. Here, we provide an improved understanding of the processing of double‐stranded RNA in the human fungal pathogen Aspergillus fumigatus, revealing susceptibility to high levels of double‐stranded RNA and limited input of the canonical RNAi machinery on the endogenous small ...

Molecular Evolutionary Analyses of the RNA-Dependent RNA Polymerase Region in Norovirus Genogroup II
Noroviruses are the leading cause of viral gastroenteritis in humans across the world. RNA-dependent RNA polymerase (RdRp) plays a critical role in the replication of the viral genome.

Mapping of transcription termination within the S segment of SFTS phlebovirus facilitated the generation of NSs-deletant viruses [PDF]
SFTS phlebovirus (severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome virus; SFTSV) is an emerging tick-borne bunyavirus that was first reported in China in 2009. Here we report the generation of a recombinant SFTSV (rHB29NSsKO) that cannot express the viral non-

NeoRdRp2 with improved seed data, annotations, and scoring
RNA-dependent RNA polymerase (RdRp) is a marker gene for RNA viruses; thus, it is widely used to identify RNA viruses from metatranscriptome data. However, because of the high diversity of RdRp domains, it remains difficult to identify RNA viruses using ...
